Oh LORDIE!!! Here we gooooo...
Yes!!! I keep staring at like where is this supposed 2.1grams at?!Oh LORDIE!!! Here we gooooo...
Am I the only one that thinks (aside from it looking like a hot pile of goo-mess) that there looks like there is hardly ANY product in these!? I didn't realize the pot was so shallow!
I think I read earlier in the thread that these can be molded/formed, but I have to say that this picture really doesn't tempt me to check out the collection.
That was my first thought as well.Yes!!! I keep staring at like where is this supposed 2.1grams at?!
EXACTLY!!! WTF is right! I'm confused!Yes!!! I keep staring at like where is this supposed 2.1grams at?!
I didn't know what the weight of these eyeshadows was but this is 2.1 grams?! And it looks so weird!EXACTLY!!! WTF is right! I'm confused!Yes!!! I keep staring at like where is this supposed 2.1grams at?!
WERD!! I don't know that I want to be "molding" or "forming" anything on my eyelids! LOL My heart sank at the look of that photo! I get that heat and such can affect a product but that doesn't look just melted, it looks folded and deformed... I'm with Naynadine... these reviews are going to sting! My question is... I'm sure T got the whole collection to review. So, is the only one that showed up like that the black one? That would be helpful to know. If the others are in good shape, perhaps it isn't a melting/heat issue at all! CURIOUS!!I think I read earlier in the thread that these can be molded/formed, but I have to say that this picture really doesn't tempt me to check out the collection.
I think she mentioned that a few of them had 'packaging problems'.WERD!! I don't know that I want to be "molding" or "forming" anything on my eyelids! LOL My heart sank at the look of that photo! This looks BAD for MAC and people who ordered online! Which is what I'll have to do to get these!! If T OVERNIGHTED them and they arrived like that... can you imagine the STANDARD SHIPPING nightmares that are about to ensue! Returns galore! Is the product good enough to go through this turmoil, and for such a small amount of product too! I'm going to see how everyone else's orders turn up before buying any.I think she mentioned that a few of them had 'packaging problems'.
That's sounds like a good plan! If they al look like doodoo you'd better skip these I think. I don't even want to know what will happen when shipped to the Netherlands, so I'll skip these for sure! This looks BAD for MAC and people who ordered online! I still don't understand if that was due to heat and they melted, or if they are just sensitive and kind of slip around in the packaging and/or shatter? Maybe her box dropped or got handled a little rough. This looks BAD for MAC and people who ordered online! Which is what I'll have to do to get these!! This is exactly how I use paint pots (although I use a brush to apply). I'm loving Indianwood and Satin Taupe lately, and I'd never given ST any love. For the most part, I only reach for these when I'm looking for a quick look that is still pretty and polished. I mostly use my finger to apply a light wash to my lid and then bring the leftover up lightly into the crease. I will go back and layer the shadow until I feel it's the intensity I want. But definitely start w a light application and layer more light layers on top if needed. I will sometimes use a matte shadow in the crease & to define the outer v, but I have found these shadows don't work so great blended together with each other. Maybe it's the texture of the shadow that makes that difficult. So I pick one of these and then use my other regular shadows to enhance the look if that's what I want. But these are kind of a one-and-done product! Wash on lid, swept lightly into the crease, highligt your browbone, and you're out the door!
The wear time is great for me... I have never tested them by the hour, but I can put them on and they last all day with no creasing. I do use a primer, just because I always do with shadows. UDPP or TFSI works great. I have also used TF Glitter Glue and it's perfect! I do have normal lids. Nothing oily or anything like that. HTH
