Having seen that swatch of Rocker, I now know that it is too dark/vampy for me. Moxie is still firmly on my wish list, though. I already have CYY from before, plus a backup, so don't need another one of that. Guacamole looks rather blah to me, plus I don't wear green that often, but I do definitely want Jete and Moth Brown when they are finally released here. Bait looks too pale, but I do want Flash Of Flesh and Cult Of Cherry even though I don't wear glosses as much as I wear lipsticks (because of my hair getting stuck to my face when it's windy out, which it has been rather a lot lately)

Just got all my lipsticks and rushed to try them on.

I LOVE Candy Yum Yum. I was worried I was going to look crazy with it on, but I love the way it looks.
Moxie is okay, but on me it's nothing special. It looks more red than pink than I was thinking it would. I bought a back up and I'm probably going to sell it.
Rocker is fab as well. Will look great in the winter.

I am worried. Mine will be here soon but it should be OMG neon bright and in your face pink. That is how the original was. Not too bright is NOT something I associate with CYY.

I hear you. I'm hoping these new CYY's are on par with the original ones.

Yep I just swatched older version of candy yum yum vs new.the older is definitely brighter but I do think cause the the older version is more drier on the lips.however they look the same color range and it is still bright.

I'm disappointed to hear this. It's what I was fearing. I wanted that really bright neon color. boo. I'm still going to keep mine probably though. I guess at least this means it's more wearable for everyday.

I was just cruising Instagram and looking at the hashtags for MAC and came across this section of comments where a user is saying that MAC is going to bring the By Request colors back in October. I'm reaaaalllyyy not sure about the credibility of the source, given that it is Instagram, word of mouth, and the user seems a little unsure about the information as well. It's interesting, though, so I thought I would share. Again, not sure if I believe it until I see it (outside of a random IG comment!)

Hmmm...that would be really unusual. I wonder if she meant that only CYY will be back in October? I could see that since the holiday collection will come out then and I think I remember reading that it will have a 60s theme. CYY would probably fit right in.

I tend to not get backups if i am unsure because when i love something I know right away.

True. I'll leave them for other people to get. I love the color but I know I won't wear it that often.
