Can someone with NW10-15 tell me how they liked Rocker? I'm debating whether or not I should order it. Post pictures please

Piarpreet- Have you seen Kat Von D "Backstage Bambi" Lipstick? It's bright and bold pink color. I know it's not CYY but it's a great color to try out. It's out of stock on Sephora's site but they always restock it or you can check the Sephora Store if you have one in your area.
I have seen it but i dont like that kind of formulas

Swiped Rocker on upper lip then smeared lips together and dabbed a wee bit more on corners. No lip liner no other makeup blah blah. Like I said earlier I apply stuff lightly. Will retry to take pics tomorrow in daylight since the bathroom kinda washes everything out :(

Thank you. I think I might go ahead and order it.

Ok well I'm going to join the Rocker train lol. Now what to do about hiding the black box from the husband lol. I have been getting so many packages lately (random things not just MAC) that now he can tell which ones are from MAC.

I'm sure they think twice about doing another segment collection...damn I hope so! I don't want to go through it again,,,
My cat gets sooo scared whenever the doorbell rings...So last week and this week has been hell for him with all the deliveries lol.
I'm sure if he could speak he would be be expressing his hatred for MAC and their staggered release dates lol.

That really tickled me (I have a cat, but the doorbell doesn't bother him!).

WARNING OFF TOPIC: When I was at the mall yesterday, I saw these new Kat Von D eyeshadows called Shade Shifters. I was lemming the On The Road shade, but the Sephora was sold out. I went to another mall and bought it today. It is gorgeous! A duochrome on steriods! I noticed on the packaging it says, " water-activated duochrome eyeshadow." There were four colors total, and the rest didn't seem as duochromey when swatched, but now I wonder what they would look like swatched wet. This is my first Kat Von D purchase. Guess I will have to trek back to the mall for a third time to swatch the others. This one is gorgeous, and is making me regret my Moth Brown purchase! Anyone else try these?

I'm going to the Sephora in Indianapolis tomorrow and will have to check that out. Sounds very cool.

you are soooo kind :) I'm so glad I "inspire" people to wear bright. Colors really make my day. I see a pretty color and it makes me smile. bright lips just go well with me, not just suits me but it has become "my thing". It has made me a confident person since the first day I said "wth! let's dare!" haven't stopped since then.

PS: I know this sounds too profound for a lipstick BUT I have always been obese and I always wanted to be unnoticed until that time when this happened :p Now it's like "Look at me! I'm Piar!"
Obese?! I'm sorry Piarpreet, I just don't see it. You have what I like to call a woman's body. Own it! I read somewhere that Marilyn Monroe fought hard to keep her womanly curves from those who wanted her to lose weight. And this is coming from a walking stick figure, lol. I've always been really thin. I tell people I'm trying to gain weight and they look at me like I'm crazy.

I hate how the BMI chart calls people obese when they really shouldn't be. Now I am by no means thin but my BMI dictates that I am obese, I wear a 16 which isn't too bad. Yes, I would be better off health wise if I lost weight but I also don't want to add stress to my life either. I think beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and that is why I like makeup, no worries about my size being out of stock lol.

I was bummed to have to go to the state art school, VCU, as opposed to the two others I got into: RISD and MICA. Little did i know that VCU would become the number 1 public art university in the United States. Booyah. I learned so much about art, color, form, etc. but as a 'grown-up', I don't have the space or time for stretchers, sculptures, etc...and I've always loved makeup and nails. It's great to use those mad skillz on the body. and P.S. I still have insane student loans.
Lol, I find it very ironic that there seems to be this stigma that you can't make money in art, yet it costs an arm and a leg to learn the skills for it.

My stuff should be here tomorrow. Considering that I used only standard shipping this time, it's really fast.

I started wearing make up (actuaslly creating looks instead of just concealer, powder, mascara) when I moved to Harlem. So, somewhat I feel you.
TY. You know it's bad when someone gets picked up for selling ak47s in front of the elementary school 1/2 a block from me. But, once I put on my eyeshadow, it's a NO cry zone :D

You can also try to find the 321 at a CCO. It's d/c, but I've seen it in plenty locations lately. I snagged up a few of them as it is one of my favorite lip brushes.
Thanks. I'll see if I can track one down. But if I can't find it, I'm thinking the 231 could be a good substitute. I don't know if its tip would be too big. But I prefer an actual lip brush because I like how the cover can be used as a handle, and it makes it safe to travel in my bag.

I don't know what has happened to me with this collection. Maybe the different dates gave me too much time to think? I got Moxie and Rocker, was really wanting Jete and MB, but by the time they came online I just didn't care anymore. Still thinking about getting Jete, but I don't know where the excitement went. Maybe if they did this for other collections some of the frenzy would die down and I will save money ;)
