Chanel lipsticks - Rouge Coco, Rouge Allure, etc.

Hi girls!!!

I FINALLY got to see some of these in person today......I ended up passing on Exaltee (toooooo bright for moi, but a really pretty color!), Inimitable (it goes to the wish-list - gorgeous red but I decided to pass for now since I have Palpitante) and Enjoee (it pulled REALLY orange on my lips, unfortunately. I thought it was a gorgeous coral in the swatch, though). I ended up coming home with Determinee, which is a beautiful plummy tone, which looks really fab with Paillettes on top!!

So my collection stands at Extatique, Secrete (my everyday pink), Seduisante, Determinee and Palpitante!

So Determinee is more of a plum color instead of brown? It always looks brown in swatches to me.

^^ On my lips (saran wrap lips) it's definitely more of a muted plum color - it looks a little brown in the tube, but it seems to really have a lot of 'pink' in it.....

That sounds like a really pretty combo! I can't wait to get Supercontinental.

I'm looking for a new lip pencil too. So far I only own MAC ones and never really use them because they are so dry. I want a pinky nude or light pink, but I think Chanel doesn't have a shade like that. Can you recommend any other brand that has great lip pencils?

The only other lip liners I have are MAC. Subculture is perfect! I would try that one. Its a pink neutral. My other nude fave is Mac's Cremola

You're right. This color is so pretty in person. I wish that I could wear it but I know that it won't even show up on my lips.

I had 2 kinda funnies today. When I went to put mascara on this morning I had the worse case of Bedhead eyelashes ever! You guys ever experience Bedhead lashes? Mine were all crazy and bent funny - just stupid looking

and the mascara did not even help them

I wore Pirate nail polish & Pirate ls today & when I went to take the lipstick off tonight, it was smeared/stained red all around the outside of my mouth - I looked like a stripper on a drunk binge

We went eating & shopping at the nice mall today & like at the Macys I was at the other day, Nordies & Saks (like others said) had the new ls just mixed in with the old ones. Its like hey we have new product but we don't care if you find it

:lol: Very funny, elegant! I have to mention that 2 points goes to my local Saks for finally having a special display for the new RA's. I noticed it when I was there Friday. It was pretty nice. I was so surprised, I guess I should've taken a pic.

I think my counter may finally have the new RAs in stock! I'm able to select my store as an option for store pick up. I'm going to see if I can make it to the counter today.

Canadian Chanel makeup lovers.......I went to order some new RA lippies from neiman Marcus, and it now says "will not ship to canada"?????
I contacted customer service, and they said that at this time, neiman marcus will not ship any makeup/fragrance to canada???!!!!!!
Does anyone know why this is, and if it will end soon????
