MAC By Request discussion

The OCC Lip Tar i really want is Butch, which is a medium light heliotrope / periwinkle blue. It came out last fall in their "Pretty Boy" collection. It doesn't appear to be available on the OCC site, but i've found that not all their pages are linked. It is listed on beauty.com, but neither Queen nor Harlot appeals to me.

Oooo, with "obsessive compulsive" googling i found Butch on OCC at a reduced price of $10 with $5 shipping, and on beauty.com it's $15 plus shipping, so still a good deal. And i found several other pages of collections not listed. I think they need a better webiste (i made up this word - it was originally a typo of website, but then i started using it intentionally - like "artiste" but for web design).

OK, just ordered Butch and Belladonna. I should be home by the time the package gets to California from NY.
I'll probably place my MAC order tomorrow afternoon - those black boxes often show up really quickly and i definitely want to be there!

Since everyone has had time to play with their By Request lipsticks, is anyone willing to sell their Moxie? I'm asking on behalf of Spanky. She misses everyone and is resting. She's also thankful to have gotten CYY from two wonderful members. She plans to make a post when she can.

Ahhh spoke too soon ups just delivered I just opened purplerinne you're in trouble lol!!!! You're going to love anime darker than nylon but it's such a pretty pink

Speaking of Nylon aka CYY, what's a good drug store lip liner to go with it? I was going to try NYX Pinky with it since I have it, but I'll bet there's something closer.

imats is a makeup trade show in LA. u can get all the makeup brands at pro artist prices just for that day as well as keynote brand speakers...I wanna see the body painting. yup from the city born and raised :)

I know of few you mentioned you are into 80's Hair bands ( I think in this thread)..rock etc...Anyway TheBalm is selling a Balm Jovi palette for a short time, I think the next couple hours. Ordered mine!

Ooooh, sounds really fun and appealing, but I've never ever paid full price for a TheBalm product, haha. Hoping i'll see this on sale via Hautelook or at Marshalls eventually!

ETA - is this one of those LE numbered palettes? Just looked at Christine's swatches/eye look and I'm telling myself that I don't need it...haha. We'll see how that goes. /sigh

Yes its LE, I always seem to miss the sales on thebalm palettes plus I have no patience. LOL I hate waiting. This will be my second thebalm palette.

I hear the eyeshadows are so buttery, and consistent within the palettes...is it true?

I have their Meet Matt(e) and Nude Tude palettes and they are buttery in texture and the pigmentation is very good. A few of the lighter colors were a little powdery, but can be managed.
