I have nudetude palette and I really like the colors and the texture is nice. Plus I like the price of their products when they are in a palette.

Ooooh, sounds really fun and appealing, but I've never ever paid full price for a TheBalm product, haha. Hoping i'll see this on sale via Hautelook or at Marshalls eventually!

ETA - is this one of those LE numbered palettes? Just looked at Christine's swatches/eye look and I'm telling myself that I don't need it...haha. We'll see how that goes. /sigh
You are not alone. i already showed the pictures of the palette to my dad. he works close to a tjmaxx .

That is one of the cutest stories I've ever heard. Your dad sounds like a sweet guy haha. I don't even know if my dad could even find the beauty/cosmetics section and even if he did, he most certainly wouldn't know what to look for.

IMATS LA is in January next year....which is still a long time to wait for lip tars! I don't know if I'd have the patience.
It'll probably in the top 5 booths I will hit up on the first day. Gotta get my lip tar fix!

i know. he started my addictions. i came to the states when i was 13. freshmen year of highschool i didnt wear make up so my dad would buy me a nail polish almost every single day from sallys. that why i have more than 300 polishes now. he's always texting me pics of new things at sally or tjmaxx. i love my dad.

I seriously wish I could attend IMATS. New York and LA get all the good stuff.
Once they start populating the exhibitors list, take a look. If there's anything you want from the available brands, I can try to pick them up for you. I did this for another Specktrette when I went to IMATS LA in June.

Do you have to be a licensed beauty professional to get into the show?
The first night is sort of a preview night for professionals only, but Saturday and Sunday is open to the general public. I believe it's $40/day or $70 for both?

REALLY? I never knew that. So disappointed. I was excited when they were in Chicago this year, but didn't try to go because I thought you had to show a license or business card.

Heeeey......

I'll have to remember that for the next LA one. We could even get a Specktra group all together to go - that could be fun stuff!

The LA show is Jan 18-20, 2013 (18th is pro only).
