I think when the stock is this limited, all stores (including MAC) should implement a one per person policy. Having said that, I just came back from the Bay with two A Perfect Cheek. The last thing I need is another blush after buying a ridiculous number this year, but I brought Blushbaby, Prism, Douceur and Launch Away with me just hoping that I already had a dupe...but none were. This is pinker and deeper than Launch Away (in a neutral way) so I had to have it.

I liked it so much that I bought a second to stick in my daughter's Christmas stocking. It seems like the kind of shade that will be flattering on both warm and cool tones and this will only be her second blush (Lovecloud being the first). While I was there I pre-ordered two of the brush bags for her. This completed my Christmas shopping for her - now for the rest of my list!

I'll swatch it later this evening when I go to pick up my Pure Zen preorder from Nordstrom. I'm pretty sure the Beauty Powder will be gone by the time I get there.

My daughter is NOT a makeup addict. She said there were two people in front of her in line and a couple of other ladies swatching things. Novices. I was able to tell her to go straight in line and not to look at anything before the phone signal was lost. She said there was a really long line behind her. She's never seen anything like it. She started to imitate a really rude woman who was saying "I want aaallll the lipsticks." She cracks me up non-stop! She was happy with Love Goddess, but I don't think she gets the magnitude of it. I told her that if she wanted anything else, that she should go back into the store and get it now. She was content with just the lipstick.

Her birthday is Oct 12th. I'm getting her a Clarisonic for her birthday, but now I need to get her something extra too.

Great 'nail-biter' story. I get all worked up reading this stuff! So glad you got the items that you wanted. Great mom, lucky daughter! Lucky mom, great daughter!

My tracking number just went up early yesterday morning, and my LG is expected to get here on Monday. If your shipping label has been created, I'm sure you'll have a tracking number within the next 24 hours!!

Well I went to the Mac store closets to me and the lipsticks sold out in 10 mins:shock: everyone was arguing about who was first who was behind who. Everyone is looking at who brought what it was crazy. I got the stuff I wanted and was out of there lol. The associates there said that they only got 5 of everything in stock.

Mine arrived today and I didn't get my shipping notice until today (including my UPS My Choice notification.) My label was created 2 days ago though. As long as you have that shipping number I wouldn't be too worried.

Hello ladies,

I've been stalking this thread for a few weeks in search of swatches before they we're up on temptalia.

I made an appointment for makeup demo because it was the only way I could pre-ordered my items. I was on the fence about getting Love Goddess, so I passed on it. Man once I saw it swatched I was kicking myself for just not ordering it.

So there I was this morning at the nearest Mac Macy's.

Normally this counter is pretty small and quiet, so I knew they would have low stock.
I got there at 9:35 and there was 5 ladies in-front of me. Once they opened the Macy's door I ran for it . I can't believe I ran in Macy's

To my horror We get in there and there was already about 5 people in there too. They had to hand out numbers once you got in there ( I got number 11).All lipsticks we’re sold out about 3 people before me. (you should have seen the stampede that lined up after me, it was INSANE! at least 30 people) *they also had a 1 item limit.

BUT then the one of the MAC ladies said she can order what we wanted on the register (she called is a "search & scan") and it would ship to my house. I had never heard they could do that. Have any of you ladies done that?

So I got my LG lippie and should have it in the mail in a few days. YAY!!!!!!!

My bf told me that he went into macys at 12:00 pm out of curioisity and asked about love goddess and they had 6 left. Thats a lot isnt it? But he said while he was walking out a lady ended up buying 3 of them

Well I feel like I should share my Marilyn story also!

I got to the counter in Debenhams at 4.45pm and they were sold out of LG, CIS and SI l/s, and PB e/s. I swatched both the blushes, but I thought they were a little too similar to ones I already have. I also really disliked the texture of PB, although I think that's because it'd probably been swatched to death by mucky fingers!
I tried in vain to get the attention of one of the two MAs (there were around a dozen customers milling about), so I just picked up FM from the display and queued at the till for 20 minutes. I already mentioned that the MA who served me kept on reminding me how "limited edition" everything was, and I just sort of nodded along... If only she knew!
Well, I needed to return something non-makeup related and had £10 worth of points, so I ended up getting 2 BPs for £19.05!!

I then speed-walked to the freestanding store to try and find LG for Lou. Nothing had a sold out sticker, and there were 2 MAs and 1 customer. I pretty much snatched LG off the display, marched up to the counter and asked if they still had it in stock. And they had 1 left, so Lou is getting LG after all!

I now have 4 backups of FM and may order another 2 tomorrow. I feel a bit mental, but it's PERFECT!

Phew. I'm really tired now!

I was able to send my mom to get my pre-order of CIS LG and Legendary from Nordstrom and thankfully my sister ran to Macys and was able to bu LG. Can't wait to go home and play with it!

I went to the Mac counter this morning and got the last FM (the SA told me they only got 3 and one was being used as a tester). I also bought Deeply Adored and Showgirl. I managed to get PB before it sold out n Mac's site. I'm waiting on my LG and TPC to come in the mail still.

I guess your right but overall I'm pissed out cuz i was unable to get my love goddess lipstick and I'm so dissappointed
