Thank you Peach Twist. That's so sweet of you to offer. I'm fortunate enough to have befriended MUAS at both a Nordstrom MAC counter and a free-standing MAC store, both of which are less than 15 minutes from my home. When new collections come in the MUA at the MAC store pulls items that she thinks I might like. She calls me at home to confirm what I want and then ships it to me when the collection releases. I also get invited to MAC events. I thought I was done with this collection but after a severe case of skippers remorse I turned to my friendly MUA at Nordstrom because the store was sold out of the collection, and had already had their MM Event. She set my items aside on Wednesday and called me on Thursday for my card # because she wasn't allowed to make the sale before then. She shipped them immediately and I hope to get them at least by Monday. So, I'm finished with this collection and ended with everything that I wanted: CIS, DA, LG, PZ (already have SI from IA collection), Beet, TPC, FM, RRR, V V & Penultimate liner.Aw thank you! I feel bad for all of the awful experiences that people had trying to get items. You have provided relief for a lot of people. I have to say that I have yet to have a bad experience w/purchasing MAC, even when I had to order by phone to get items from the Styleseeker collection from another state. I've been pretty fortunate. Nevertheless it's nice to watch the supportive spirit here on Specktra!

Oh good - I'm so glad you got everything! I've been making a lot of phone orders from one counter in particular and I'm beginning to love the girls there albeit them being 2hrs away by train! I think I may get DA myself and even possibly CIS but I'm not 100% sure on CIS yet.

Me too! Even though I look nothing liker her lolYeah idk about LG being very Marilyn, but a lovely specktrette posted a vid earlier of a mua at an event explaining that LG was created for Christan Hendricks and I have to admit that informed my purchase...just a little

AARGH! I called Macy's to check on the status of my non-shipped items (Charmed I'm Sure, Love Goddess, and The Perfect Cheek), suddenly the message only mentioned one box (my BP which already shipped), so talked to a CS person and she said my order has been canceled.
Big fat surprise that Macy's screws the order up that had the product I wanted more than anything from this collection (LG).
So frustrated right now, and I have no clue what to do. On hold waiting to talk to a manager.

You know what I say to people and their opinions about how something looks? Fuck 'em. All that matters is that YOU like it and YOU want it. Their opinion doesn't matter. I had a rainbow in my hair years ago. Every colour all at once - it was the most epic thing. I only got rid of it due to the fact it was a bitch to keep up with.Completely random and unrelated to Marilyn, but I'm currently having a staring contest with a box of dark red hair dye. Should I just go for it? I really want red hair but I'm worried people I know will notice and think I look silly

Well called Macy's and they are crediting back my money for Scarlet Ibis, unfortunately they can't reship the item since it's out of stock...guess it wasn't meant to be. I still have my Nordie's order with Love Goddess and Deeply Adored to look forward to.

Macy's is really pathetic with this. They canceled my order, I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with a manager as they tried to sort it out, then was told they found them elsewhere and the order was reactivated. Called that store to confirm, and they didn't have anything, despite what I was just assured.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves with how incompetently they are handling this. Such bad service.
