ugh they did the same thing to me : ( they cancelled my bpAARGH! I called Macy's to check on the status of my non-shipped items (Charmed I'm Sure, Love Goddess, and The Perfect Cheek), suddenly the message only mentioned one box (my BP which already shipped), so talked to a CS person and she said my order has been canceled.
Big fat surprise that Macy's screws the order up that had the product I wanted more than anything from this collection (LG).
So frustrated right now, and I have no clue what to do. On hold waiting to talk to a manager.

I say YOLO...just do it!Completely random and unrelated to Marilyn, but I'm currently having a staring contest with a box of dark red hair dye. Should I just go for it? I really want red hair but I'm worried people I know will notice and think I look sillyOpinions appreciated!

I haven't tried any of the products that I purchased other than the PB, and surprisingly it is lovely on my NC 44 complexion. I topped it with MAC's Mineralized Charge Water.
I'm wearing pink-themed makeup, etc for the entire month for BCA. By Nov 1st I'll be ready to dive into reds and everything else! I can't wait to wear DA especially.
I think you should treat yourself to both!!!

My local store still had all the polishes in stock today, I was very surprised! I went in to B2M some empties and I snagged Vintage Vamp, they still had two leftover. They even had two of the eyeshadows but I didn't see which ones were still in stock. Everything else was wiped out. I didn't swatch Flaming Red but it looks gorgeous! I don't usually buy nail polish because it's not an everyday thing for me, but there was just something about RRR and VV that suckered me in!I bought the last Flaming Rose nail polish today. I wondered if it was the last Marilyn product left on the planetIts a really really pretty red.
The store was busy today but it seemed like people were just regularly in there. There was a model getting her makeup done a la Marilyn, but I don't think they were really doing much of a Marilyn event with the products for appointments. Nothing that seemed out of the ordinary for a Saturday, anyway.
The sweetest MA was helping me with my purchases and he recognized me from the boards here

Can't help yah out there but thanks for the hook up with Scarlet Ibis girlso with all these cps and swaps. my biggest make up regret is not getting the estee lauder summer quad this year. is it available in any of the uk stores??? or canada?? or holland??

The only time I've ordered from them, they cancelled my order. I love Nordstrom!
I actually just got my Lovecloud and TPC on friday.. I really prefer them.I've never had a cancelled order or missing items.

Okay ladies.
I'm sorry - I've taken the last orders! I cannot do anymore CP's!
In the past 36-48hrs I've taken orders for 11 of you wonderful women here on Specktra. The amount I've ordered is seeming to going to show up in roughly 7 different packages.
I can't handle anymore than that as most people have ordered quite a few items and it'll just be too much to handle unfortunately.
I hope everyone else manages to get the items they want somehow!

Yeah i'm def sticking with Nordies from now on...I still can't believe Macy's sent me an empty MM lipstick box with no tube inside. I will say when I did call the customer service guy was super nice atleast.

Today was no exceptionwith all the stories of the bad artists, I felt I should share an experience with a great artist! Even if I did blush a little when he asked if I was duckrodeo from Specktra, heeheee!
Btw, I swear everytime I read your name I STILL see it differently. I read it as duck-er-ee-doo. No idea why. :|

It totally sucks that the same thing happened to you! I really don't understand how they promised that stock to us then sent it elsewhere or to other people. They totally made me so happy when they said hey, we got this for you! oh wait, nope!! 2 days later. BOGUS. Macys broke my marilyn monroe loving heart!

I'm just waiting for Belk to join Macys and Bloomingdales in sending out cancellations. Would love to know if the dept stores didn't get the stock they were promised or something?
