MAC By Request discussion

I already have CYY, so don't have to panic about that one. I want Moxie, Jete, Moth Brown, Cult Of Cherry and possibly Flash Of Flesh. I've convinced myself that Rocker will be too dark and vampy for me.

that's a great list! re: rocker - i wouldn't worry about that one. i imagine it'll stick around on the website for quite a while and you'll have plenty of time to decide whether or not you want it. unlike CYY, Moxie and MB, which will sell out in a heartbeat. i'm teaching almost the entire day tomorrow and there's no way i can check the site regularly. chances are they'll have long gone by the time i'm done. grrr!

I really think they should make 'limited edition' to mean available for a limited time, rather than until they sell out of the tiny amount of stock. If they didn't bring out so many collections they would be able to make bigger amounts of the rest and ensure there is enough to go around. These were voted for, and as such they know they are likely to sell.

Not everyone can be at their computer as soon as the collections go up on the MAC site.

In fact, with this By Request collection, it might have been a good idea to make the winning products permanent.

I wish MAC had collections available limited time not until they sell out. I will be skipping this collection completely just because I can't afford it at the minute, but unfortunately it will be sold out within hours or a day and I can't say to myself I will buy those next month.

thank you! a colleague and i were talking about the stuff we liked as kids and the Jetsons were high up on both our lists (Elroy being my fave character). She didn't share my love of dancing coke cans though

This collection came up on my phone before it did on my laptop so I ordered it through my phone instead and it's only just shown for me on my browser lol.

I half considered getting CYY just because it was there... but luckily I came to my senses and remembered that it would look horrific on me

To be honest, I think Moxie will look pretty crap on me too, but I got suckered in by the cult status!
