Oh I really, really hope there is just some kind of error with the description and it's not a different color altogether! I will be so sad and frustrated if that's the case.

You are right....the description of RIS from VV collection is different:

Revenge is Sweet - light yellow purple
puts the breaks on my usage... I'll enjoy a new purple, but I'll be disappointed if this is not the same.

on another note. I was looking at someone review Sleek products and they had a purple gloss that reminded me of RIS. I'll go find it and post it later.

It's my periwinkle!! Sorry family. I couldn't hold off on saying that color any longer. Even my mom (who is not a makeup addict in the slightest. She doesn't even like makeup) likes this shade.
Here is Lust:

I don' t have Grid....sorry!

^That lipstick reminds of the one I mentioned on here, which I had when I was younger. It was just a smidgen more silver, and also had a tiny pink hue to it. But they're very similar. Seeing that lippie makes me feel like 16 again, LOL.

Aaah. To feel 16 again. The lipstick you mention has me giggly like a school girl. I don't recall having something so beautiful around when I was 16. I had more reds due to Madonna being the "new" pop queen at that time. Not too many unusual lippies when I was a teenager. One very beautiful lilac/lavender that I wish I could remember the brand. It was creamy & the color payoff was to die for. It was actually the only lippie I finished.

I remembered the brand the one I got was from, I ordered some hair products from a catalogue back then, and also that lippie. I don't even know why I went for such a color, it just made me curious because it was so unusual. I don't think they make the shade anymore, the closest they have now is this one called ''Silver Lilac''. I guess it's the new version of the one I had. Looks pretty cool, too, but not as unique as the former more silver-bluish version.

Basler Haar-Kosmetik | Lady B. Lippenstift Silver Lilac (9) | Online kaufen (I might've already posted this last time I posted about this lippie, I don't remember. I'm getting old apparently, LOL)

Yup. They definitely need to repromote Lust so that I can get my little paws on it. And Grid. And a whole bunch of the colours that they used to have that made you stop and say "WOW" when looking at the Mac collection. I get that they need to reserve space for the colours that really sell, but I do miss that feeling when I'd go to the counter of thinking "I would never have thought of that shade, but it's amazing". I'm glad to see that they're bringing some of them- like Rocker and now Jet- back in a limited run.

I also still have Blast O'Blue from a few years back (C-Shock), which looks like the lipstick form of Peacocky but also leaves that sort of blue-purple stain. I think I've collected just about every blue-purple lipstick that Mac has released in recent years (although I somehow missed Potent Fig...) and when they release more... I'll buy more.
Oooo, now i have to look for pictures of Blast O'Blue! Off to google...
OK, i found a nice shot on Temptalia... 2007! Lovely! even tho' it's just on her hand. I gather it had a Glaze finish:

I haven't layered Peacocky, i've just worn it as in its teal-ness. But mine does not change color on me; that "gorgeous blueberry shade" sounds pretty. Guess it's time to experiment mixing stuff...

I went to the MAC Pro Shop a couple days ago and got the Chromagraphic Pencil in Hi-Def Cyan. [I also got Lash Mix so i can blend my own color mascara, and a beautiful duo-chrome glitter that is blue violet with (i forget) pink or turquoise reflects. And i was tempted to buy some creme color sticks in chartreuse, turquoise, and blue -- sorry, can't recall the exact name of the product or the colors, so i'll have to go back some time next year to get more stuff to play with.]

I find that Asian Flower Supreme Sheen Lipstick, a lovely pinkish violet in the tube, turns quite fuchsia on me, which disappoints me. So i lined my lips with Cyan and worked it a little way in from the edge, although i did not fully cover my lips. Then i applied a generous coating of Asian Flower. Finally, i got out my lipstick brush and blended them so that i didn't have a cyan line around my lips. It was a really interesting color, a bit bluer / more cyan near the corners of my mouth and more blue-mauve on the rest of my lips. I need to play more to get it just right, but i liked the effect.

So, i am encouraged to play more mixing Peacocky with other lip colors. Of course, i may go full out, wearing Peacocky with Hi-Def Cyan pencil, and a bit of Summer Shower Glaze lipstick (from Fashion Flower) for some shimmer mid-lip when i'm feeling blue, aqua blue. (pathetic James Bond imitation)
