I was thinking the same thing. The image didn't really go with Chanel to me.

I still have yet to go in search of the Holiday collection. I probably will go tomorrow. One of my gift cards is expiring tomorrow so I will inquire if my store has the products. Most likely they will since it is on Bloomies site. I guess I can't wait for the event I'm attending to buy the products. I believe I'm scheduled for the first week in November but if this collection has been out for awhile in store I don't want to risk a sell out. But that would leave me with little to buy for the event.

Paisley - any sites that you've found to have good swatches? I'm thinking I need to try a Glossimer. So far I've pre-order the Quad, Malice n/p, and Notorious from Nordstrom. No idea if there is a delay in the collection's arrival as I was waiting to purchase it this Saturday to receive a GWP.

I was going to wait to place my order as well. I had a livechat with Nordstrom about the GWP and she told me that nothing is in her system til Black Friday. I'm not sure if i want to risk the items being soldout. I'm debating on Malice! It reminds me of Revlon Vixen. Also that oxblood color is so in this season... so i'm sure there will be a lot of potential dupes.

Shontay, you are evil!!! If Macy's still has the quad (they said they had fairly limited quantities, but the display wasn't even up on Monday when I bought my l/s) when I go pick up my Glamourdaze stuff, I'll PROBABLY get it.

Re: Notorious being on department store websites, I'm not sure, but NO ONE really knows much about it. I bought mine at a Chanel boutique, and I was told it was a boutique exclusive. At Macy's, they told me it was an exclusive to boutiques, Saks, and Nordstrom. Who knows what is right, but if you want it, I would pick up soon!

Thanks for mentioning that. I didn't even pay attention when I first watched it, but it is beautiful. It looks like the liquid version that we're supposedly not getting in the US though, doesn't it?

Edit: I would say we ARE getting the liquid liner as it's shown on chanel.com, just OOS:

Really! I like the waterproof pencils. Wonder if I need both. I would say that the one in the video is the liquid liner?

I just called my Nordies & they couldn't tell me anything yet. She said it shipped to them Oct. 1 She did look in the book & it only showed the liquid liner Maybe we'll get lucky & the pencil will be an exclusive.

It does. Only time will tell! Maybe chanel.com will have an exclusive on the liquid and the dept stores will get the pencil.

The Chanel mgr. from Bloomies NY just called me back. And.....they have no idea about the pencil listed

on the site. She said that Grenat is close. And, they are not going to get the liquid liner. It may be released later with a mascara???

Probably the Le Volume de Chanel mascara that they're going to preview on chanel.com. They told me that mascara had been pushed back too. lol I was thinking the Variation and Intuition quads might come out at the same time as that mascara?
