i got my glamourdaze stuff in one piece, but i have no power, no heat, no hot water so i just came to my grandmas house to sleep over and the first thing that i do is go on specktra lol.

now back to my haul, i really like both of the EDSF but using my 130 and my 116 i cant really pick up enough product. any ideas as to what im doing wrong?

as for the lipsticks i think glamourdaze is bleh and outrageously fun is pretty but idk im just not wowed. maybe after this whole storm thing settles ill have a chance to go back home and play around more using different liners and stuff.. but for the time being im just not impressed with these lippies.
I didn't like glamourdaze either. It's not just you.

Sorry for this question. I'm sure this has been covered. I've been out of touch due to my father-in-law passing away.

I was wondering what you guys thought of the eye shadow palettes. The packaging is so cute but I've purchased things way too often in past for that reason only. then find late I'm not that crazy about the product.

T gave them only an only average review but many times she's way off from others think. and I trust my specktra friends to be in the know.
So very sorry for your loss!

By fluke, I have the Warm Eyes palette but I was really interested in the Neutral Eyes one. I'm not fond of palettes as such because they take up space, but recently I used one on a trip and it made things so easy...so much so that I think I'll get the Neutral Eyes palette & give the Warm Eyes to a friend. Like myself, most MAC enthusiasts probably already have at least one or two of the shadows in these palettes. The shadows swatched nicely, and one can make some pretty eye looks with them. As you noted, the packaging is pretty darned cute too. Beyond that I guess personal preference is the driver behind this purchase.

I am trying to resist ordering a couple of the pigment sets. I love they way they look and swatch based on web pics, but I find this formula a pain to apply on myself.

I've also been wondering this. I always buy a holiday palette and then rarely use it, but this packaging is so cute. I already think I'm going back to my counter for the pink lip bag and the mint brush set.

I'm also sorry for your loss. My grandma passed away recently so I'm out of the loop with all the Mac info as well.
Hugely sorry for your loss as well, BBmorgan!

I actually got the brush kit to use the case for my full size brushes. They do fit very nicely in the bottom pouch, but I'm afraid of putting the brushes in there without any protection. I'm also worried that the brushes could stain the satin lining. I haven't tried any of the smaller short handle brushes before, so I'm curious if I'm going to like them or not.
Now, now CartoonChic, unless you're planning on taking your brushes to the battle field in Afghanistan, they should travel just fine in the case. Alternatively you can wrap them in tissue paper. I wash my brushes every night, even when I'm traveling. On the last day I wrap the soiled brushes in tissues or paper towels to keep my brush roll clean and then wash them when I get home. I haven't yet traveled with the case but I plan to use it the same way and hope for the best.

That's lame! I wonder if the same thing will happen to me. That's exactly why I ordered through the website instead of just buying the brush set in the store. I wanted the gift wrap. I'm scheduled to get my package Tuesday, so we'll see.

Lol, sorry. I meant that I didn't want to put the brushes directly into the pocket of the hanging travel bag without any protection. So I got the brush kit to keep my brushes inside of the case. Then I'll pack the case inside of the travel bag. I like things really organized. Maybe too organized. Can't wait for the brush kit to get here Tuesday so I can see how my plan works.

My condolences shadowaddict and BBMorgan.

I am loving whatever shade Christina is wearing. Why aren't there more purple lipsticks in this world???I wonder if there is a list of amazing purple lippies anywhere...

I got my order today...DE is so purply gorgeous...also RTP has a nice duo chrome finish. I was trying to decide if Talk Softly to Me has that new gloss formula as in the ones from Style Seeker I got but I am not sure yet.

I can't wait to get A natural Flirt and my gloss sets next week.

OT: Recently, I have hit pan on the Give Me Liberty of London ES. It's my first MAC ever I hit pan on. I didn't think it would be possible with so many goodies I have. I'm quite excited! LOL

Thank you so much for the swatches, geeko! It's very helpful! So, how many blushes do you have now?
