yes now that you say it, i see it, a pale pink. nothing looks purple in karens picture and in the temptalias only the dark gloss

A few pieces arrived this morning from MAC’s PR department from Taste Temptation. I’ll be sure to purchase the remaining items once it launches online.

Yeah, I noticed. I'm just glad she and Karen got any samples at all since their PR has been pretty stingy over the last several months. LOL

That's Up the Amp at the bottom....I was comparing the colors. The bright pink is Night Blooming, Seducctive Intent, & Nocturnal Instincts last. The gloss is Revenge is sweet, I think I'm going to get that too....the colors are sooo pretty!!

Thanks for the swatches and for including Up The Amp as a comparison. Now I have an even better idea of what the Mattenes look like. Nocturnal Instincts has me worried, but my list hasn't changed. I'm still getting all 3 Mattenes and Waveline Fluidline for sure. Still debating Revenge is Sweet and Perky Lipglasses, but I've included them in my budget to be safe.

Thank goodness for product pictures, even if it is only part of the collection. Of course, swatches could change my thinking, but I am down to the two purple mattenes and that is all. I got dupes for both blushes, the quad sounds like chalk city and none of the colors look especially unique (esp. Carbon) and I don't need a single more lipgloss. I guess I am going to be waiting for Apres Chic before any more big hauls. That could be a good thing.

i love the look of the extra lippie in karen's picture but the lavander blush look too pale/white in both pics.

When the MA swatched it on me the other day, she said that it would look best as a highlighter on darker complexions. I would say it's more lilac than lavender, definitely some pink in it, but I was surprised that I liked it so much. My skintone is a medium beige (I use 207 in MUFE Duo Mat foundation) and it brightened up my face in a nice way.

That pale pink gloss was definitely more milky white on my hand swatch. Total pass for me.

The 2 bright mattenes do lean more pink than blue, so if that was what you were hoping for, this isn't it.

yay! I have been waiting since last week for someone to get something to swatch. I'm going to a launch, so the swatches won't matter that much to me as far as what to order. I am excited we are finally getting a new MAC collection in the US. This has been one of those rare MAC collection droughts, lol.

I know I need to grab RIS, but that dark lipgloss in Karen's photo looks interesting.

I have no idea why MAC can't put out consistently good quads. The ones from Shop/Cook were fantastic, and yet here we are again. Good thing I thought it was a boring quad to begin with, or I'd be disappointed. Not surprised, but still disappointed.

naval is obviously a matte labeled as a veluxe. no quad for me.
