It's definitely easier on my lips than some other Amplifieds I have. I've been wearing it all day and it's been vey comfortable.


Also Silver Birch talk: I finally used mine and am a little sad. I tried to get one without much black in the mix, but it still reads cooler on me than the tester I originally tried, which looked more pale gold olive. If anyone has one that's too warm and golden for their tastes, let's talk.

All this Silver Birch talk, I really need to try mine. I liked it enough in the store but now I'm wondering about it.

It still has an amazing texture, especially applied wet. You really see the lighter color very dramatically in the highlight that way. I picked one that had a lot of peach color in it, so that's what I'm getting mostly. I can tell there's more gold further down, so there's that. Also is probably the lighting today - Haute Altitude looked more subdued on me today when it looked a lot pinker the last time I wore it a few days ago.

Give your SB a try and let us know how it comes out.

Will do Liba! I have no idea what veining is in mine. Still waiting for more products from this collection to arrive. I have a Mac.com order hopefully, coming tomorrow with the blushes and a few more lipsticks. I have a Nordstrom order with Hot Chocolate coming maybe Monday. This one was so slow to ship, I thought it would be cancelled. I'm so curious about this color will look on me as it seems to look different on everyone.

Here's the great thing…..you can put the balms on over lipsticks and blot them down without losing the color shift they give, but getting rid of the glossy finish. Over Hot Chocolate then blotted down, you get a nice soft satin finish.

This also works just wearing the balms by themselves. You get this beautiful natural lip effect, as if you had teenager lips again. Honestly, it's the best feature of these balms and totally make them worth the bucks.

We moved end of October but it has been packed up for 10-12 weeks total! We had carpet replaced with hardwood on the first floor (including office) so I JUST unpacked it now that the dust is gone and we bought a new desk set up. I had been browsing from my laptop or ipad or phone... and just too lazy or tired to post. My poor makeup has been sitting in storage type bins with NO rhyme or reason, so putting on makeup or whatever was a PITA!

I'm excited because we have so much more natural light at this place. I purposefully put my makeup in front of a nice big window!

That sounds like a great setup HoneyMilk. I'm sure you'll enjoy having easy access to your stash and great lighting in which to use it. BTW, your iMAC is huge. I'm a recent owner of the 21.5" only because my MAC Book Pro died suddenly and w/o warning. I cried like a baby about it. I'm still in the process of befriending the iMAC.
Congrats on your new home!!!

for grins can anyone nw/nc20 ish compare light year and amber glow? i saw a girl use it as a highlight and was curious :) hopefully ill get to see this collection this weekend and pick up some goodies! cant wait to try things out!
