There have been so many false accusations in the years I've been reading. As with the touching with fingers, I always am careful to not do that, or touch anything with a dirty brush either. MAC will always be my favorite brand, and for my the most part, the only brand I buy, and I used to just buy everything that was a pretty color, despite reviews. But in doing that, I wasted a lot of money on products that will never be used since I have no way of selling them. I'm a bit disappointed that they keep making crappy products permanent instead of great products, but hell as long as they keep releasing Extra Dimension eyeshadows, I don't care how horrible their regular ones are.T didn't steal pics? But why are a couple of girls on here saying that she did? Why would they lie about that and if you're so sure how do you know? I'm asking because I was not around when all of that stuff happened and honestly believe the girls on here before I would believe T. I hope your don't feel offended, because that's really not how this is meant. I'm just wondering.
I do not agree that so many products were bad. I actually thought this was a great year for MacI feel like often the problem with for example quads is, is that people swatch them with their fingers and some textures just can handle that and you really shouldn't touch them at all with your fingers. When they are swatched with a brush and never before touched with fingers they can be great.
I do hope Mac will release more EDES, because indeed those were amazing!
At least you get the benefit of seeing lots of swatches and reviews before it is released in your country. That's a big advantage, though I can certainly see your point that waiting for a collection is frustrating. But you get Strength in February, right?
Yeah it has both a plus and a minus side. As long as I can go to a counter it is not the biggest problem if we don't have swatches, but then I might bring home more than I should or less and regret things, because I didn't have time to think about it. Yes we get Strength in february, but only online and I've had bad experience with Mac online, so luckily I was able to get a cp! I already got 2 lippies and the rest will follow this or next week hopefully.
I didn't see those, but then again I'm only part of the community since february 2010. I'm glad the reviews do help you not to purchase stuff you don't like. I guess we just have different tastes. I'm not always looking for the most pigmented shadow, because it can end up way higher than I want it to. I also don't understand everything about which things they make permanent, but I guess it has also to do with ingredients not being available all the time and stuff like that that we don't hear of. It's easy for us to say to make this and that colours permanent, but sometimes that might not be an option and of course the hype of something being limited has a lot to do with it as well.
It is a very useful freckle for that very purpose! I really like her swatches and she is one of the few who does them on the lips, so even if she hates MAC and feels the need to bash them, I still read her reviews. I do tend to take what she says with a grain of salt. She is entitled to her opinion, and evidently she does feel MAC has let her down in some way, maybe that their quality isn't what is used to be or soemthing like that, but she takes it quite personally soemtimes. Yeah, a more expensive product is going to be better in quality (well, it should be) but MAC to me is the brand that is in the mid range and often turns out quality products that are as good as or better than the high end brands. Sure they turn out a dud once in a while but I believe it was Einstein who said anyone who hasn't made a mistake has never tried anything new. (okay, its a paraphrase, but my it gets my point across). As much as I laugh about T's predictability in bashing MAC, I still go to her site first and her MAC database is the shit, so I am not knocking her. I appreciate her site. And as long as its getting hits, I am sure she can laugh all the way to the bank.
Anyway I've seen mentioned many times in this thread the color story - sorry to seem dense but what is that? Does that mean the specifics and photos of each item in the collection? Yep indeed. I think we have a large part already, but we don't know all the glosses or the nail polishes and some descriptions for the rest is not complete and hopefully their will be accessories.
That hair (natural or otherwise) is glorious. Having said that, even with the broody chiseled features it would show up my own natural chestnut mane (the younger, fuller, pre-grey version, I mean) so much that I'd never have stood beside him.
