So many NW10-NW15s here! Would anyone (especially on the paler side) mind sharing their best foundation matches? F&B, Studio Sculpt, and Giorgio Armani break me out, unfortunately. To stay on topic, I LOVE my Veronica's Blush and I can't wait to get my Prom Princess that I ordered today! Also got DLG, RR, BB, and the Caramel Sundae quad.
I use boots color adjusting in very fair http://www.us.boots.com/Product_Typ...tually_Weightless_Color-Adjusting_Foundation/ My target has all no7 for 30% off right now. Also Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in porcelain. I keep getting referred to mix illamasqua's white foundation with my other foundations to get them pale enough.

I keep my makeup organized by type and color. That is, i have my makeup organized by whether they are Cool, Neutral, or Warm in color. So that's a minimum of 3 containers each for Eyes, Lips, and Cheeks - and they're organized by color within each box, too. I also have one box for eyelash stuff, eyebrow stuff, eye primers, and eye tools. And i have one box for face primers, color correctors, concealer, foundation, and face powder.

Right now i do my makeup sitting on my bed. At the head are two rather tall windows looking over a neighbor's roof, so it's private. And it faces northeast so during the day the light is pretty good. I just pull the necessary boxes onto the bed. I use a hand mirror and i'm pretty adept at holding the mirror and the product container in one hand and my makeup brush in the other.

But if i want to put my makeup on late in the day or after dark, well, the overhead light just does not give enough light. That's why i need to arrange a vanity-type set up with some good lighting. But I can't use a wall-mounted lighted mirror because i'm so near-sighted. I definitely want / need good lighting, but i have to get my mirror within a couple inches of my face so i can see what i'm doing!

Thanks for the various suggestions. I'm much more likely to buy some lights at IKEA for $30 than to spend $300 for a fancy vanity mirror-light i won't really be able to use.

I've never lived anywhere that had a counter in the bathroom in front of a mirror or i'd probably be sitting up on it, too.

Many places here date to around the turn of the last century, and the last time they were remodeled it was the 1950s, so just a sink sticking out of the wall and a standard medicine cabinet with a mirror, sometime up too high for me to see more than the top of my head in - i'm 5'1".

When I found out that UD was making palettes for Oz, I was excited to see what they would look like (hoping they would be something along the lines of the Alice in Wonderland one). But I was disappointed. I don't like that they are made with the build your own palette. I hope they are not planning to make all of their palettes that way!
I would recommend Cream Soda if you like peach blushes. It's my new favorite! I have some redness in my cheeks, and this helps balance it out while giving a nice natural color.
I just received both my palettes today and I really like them! Sorry you couldn't get them to work for you.

I heard that from now on, UD will be making every palette Build Your Own instead of the Alice and Wonderland type. Forgot where I heard that from, though.

Oh I love this color on you!! Shoot...guess I'm going to the counter for this one...

That's an awesome connection to have, B7uemo0n! And I think it's smart of you to have her hold DLG, because I bet that one's gonna sell out fast!
I went ahead and told her to save BB (my 2nd BU) 2 DLG and one RR. Ahh... So excited! Thought I was going to be happy with 2 BB and one flatter me Pearlmatte. That didn't happen lol.

Yep, thats when I discovered that I liked Nicki2 over that stain :)
I haven't got DLG yet but it happens to me with some reds and hot pinks I used. I started using my electric toothbrush to exfoliate my lips and brush the color away and it works for me.

I'm 15-20 neutral, very different color from you. On my Pink Cult goes with everything because it just looks like my cheeks have natural color. It's in my Neutral blush box for that reason, not in the Warm box or the Cool box.

I mean comon they didn't even have primer when I started wearing make-up. Or at least I never heard of it and my first make-up was Clinique in like 1980 when I was a wee little teen

(cue old lady voice) Hah! Back when i was a girl they didn't have eye primers! I started wearing makeup in the first half of the 1960s. I still have a Max Factor loose powder eye shadow from around 1962 that cam in a glass bottle, back when plastic was new. (end old lady voice)

By the mid-1990s several companies were making products to put on your lids before shadow, but in my experience they tended to crease and not set.

I have some MAC and MUFE face color correctors from the mid-90s, too. They didn't work like modern primers do now, as they tended to blend into my foundation. Big changes in less than 15 years. Huge changes in the chemicals used in makeup - many of those 90s products had lanolin in them - not any more.

Wow, right when I posted.. The ups guy drove behind my office (I always know when he's here because I can hear him drive by.. Hehe) and hand delivered it to me!! He's really the nicest ups guy ever!! And it doesn't hurt that he's always bringing me presents (my packages)! Woo hoo!! The pin is bigger than I thought too!!
I'm at the event now and it's so cute and fun. I got a pin but didn't get the candy tin... Everyone is getting something different it seems. I love what I hauled! Ronnie Red, Strawberry Malt, and Kiss and Don't Tell. Everything is beautiful and I'm considering a backup of Strawberry Malt for realz.

I got Designer Purple ages ago when it came out. Heck, i'm wearing it today. I love it!

I want to get Lord It Up, but i'll take my time, since all the Pearlglides in AG are perm, just not in AG packaging. I don't see any reason to pay extra for the packaging.
