I just put the Nikki 2 lipglass over boyfriend stealer and it completely transforms boyfriend stealer! Thanks for the tip and YES, I'm done

I went to the MAC store today and they suggested In Anticipation as a liner for BB.  I bought them both and it looks great!  HTH!

I have this too! Does it pull more pink with it tho?

Thats the one I have been waiting for the restock, but after phoning both my sister and friends in 2 different states I finally got it! Now to wait for my orders in the mail! So impatient!

Oh! Sorry I haven't introduced myself (how rude of me!) I always been a online lurker but I didnt know how to posts, I'm new here at commenting but living outside the states at times a girls gotta do some search for some swataches and having to stalk MAC launches like crazy! It doesnt help when u have so many time differences! I have moved around like 3x this past year alone!

"storm" is an understatement, it was harder to get bread and milk than get the lipsticks LOL.

Slightly off-topic, but just had to toss in that I've never understood why so many people get milk when a storm is coming. Bread I understand. But milk? If the storm is that bad, power outages are probably likely, and milk won't last long in a blackout! The only thing I can figure is that they're planning to be stuck at home for a few days (not giving a thought to the possibility of outages), and they want their milk so they don't have to go to the store when they're all snowed in?

Back on topic, I witnessed the glory of victory and the devastation of defeat at the MAC counter today. A woman asked for RR and got THE last one. She was soooo happy because she said it was sold out everyplace else she went today. Not 5 minutes after she left, a woman came up with her two kids and asked for RR. She said another counter in the same mall had called over to see if it was in stock. Well, it was in stock when she called, but by the time she got there from the other counter... well, I already told you someone got the last one. The disbelief and frustration was just heartbreaking to see!

I tried on Flatter Me right on the top of my cheekbone on top of prom princess with a spray of fix+ to pop it out. It looked nice. Verdict is still out because its a little flat on me. It didn't work straight out the pan. I have to think about it cause I'm used to a little more dimension and gleam with my highlighters. EDSF has me spoiled! Veronica's blush is too cool for me. Test Flatter Me if you can

Welcome back!!! You look amazing in brights, MacJunkie85! So, as you know, I skipped this collection, but then made the mistake of going to my Mac counter today to just 'browse'. She put on Cherry lip liner with Ronnie Red and I really liked it! It definitely leans pink on me so I passed, because I already have Love Goddess. Then I told my MA that I was hoping it compared to Ruby Woo, because I love that lippie. She asked if I tried Cherry lip liner with it and I said no. She put Cherry lip liner with Ruby Woo on top  and I fell in LOVE. :eyelove: and walked out of there with the lipliner, a 211 brush, Uninterrupted prolongwear eyeshadow and the 224. Yep, just browsing....:comment:

I was so prepared to do battle this morning. I left the house an hour late and was feeling stressed already

. I just knew everything would be gone. I pulled up to Macys and ran to the first floor's MAC counter. To my surprise, I was the first customer at 11 am. I had one then two very helpful MAs helping me out. I was the first one to sample the swatches and they were still setting the displays up. I ended up buying:

I already ordered online all the Veronica Lipsticks and Betty's Oh Oh, Oh.
What a haul. I really want the makeup brushes, but unfortunately its exclusive to MAC and I ran out of my Macys gift cards(from Christmas).

like i wanna laugh because your story sounds funny imagining it, but i have totally been there with the Taste Temptation lipsticks... aw we feel for her, damn MAC! lol

and at first i didnt want RR because I was like "eh its another red" but i looked at all my lippies and i didnt have a TRUE red and then i started seeing more awesome praises of its formula and long lasting color and now its almost impossible to track down.

The MAC site says "coming soon" so hopefully some boyfriends and significant others get u that lipstick for v-day lol

Oh those TT lipsticks...those were a hot mess too, lol. Nowhere near the craziness of Archie or Marilyn, but they were still tough to find if you hesitated for even a moment! This is exactly why I just stalk the website and order online. Even though it involves a few sleep-deprived nights, it's worth it to me knowing that I'll get the things I want, rather than take a chance at opening time at a MAC counter/store. Although with this collection in particular, there seem to be a LOT of screw-ups going on with people's orders! To anyone whose order got messed up, I'm truly hoping MAC corrects the situation and fast!!! I had started quoting to respond to individual people's order issues, but there were just so many of them... Terrible!

I didn't feel a need for RR since I have more reds in my stash than I'll ever use up, and I found my perfect red in Deeply Adored from the Marilyn collection. "Coming soon" is a good sign though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! And I will of course post on specktra immediately if I see it's available online anywhere!!

Very pretty look. I love this palette. It's my new neutral---a lovely change from browns, etc to accommodate an everyday look.

The colors are a bit muted because of lighting. I couldn't find a good angle with the natural light. But this is the caramel sundae quad! Really great for everyday and easy to smoke out

Enjoy your new lippies! For WOC, the PMs work best as highlighters but as an NC 44 I would definitely use the 'hearts' as blush. My issue is that I love the little hearts and choose not to dig in them. I swirl my brush lightly over the blush & BP for a soft lovely highlight.

I picked some 3 lipsticks during the pre-launch event at the North Park mall: DLG, BB & RR. I am an NC50 in MAC for color reference. I paired BB with Vino lip liner just to tone it down a little. I may go back for BFS but it may be too dark for me but I'll give it a try.
Are the pearlmattes just meant to be a wash/dusting of color on the face? Or would y'all say ppl use it more as a highlight?
