Good luck on your interview!Ack so nervous! Been 6 years since I last went on an interview.
Don't give in to ebay!! Once you reach 50 posts on specktra, you'll be able to access the Clearance Bin, where fellow specktra members offer to sell or swap products they bought and decided they don't really want to hold on to. Generally speaking a much safer way to go (and more reasonable in price!) than the evil-bayers.Ugh i missed the MM collection I was overseas in Japan, actually when it launched it was mid day, I had just gotten home and was able to score Scarlet Ibis. I really wanted DA but I had VG 1 and that was dark red enough for me.. i hope lol I looked it up on ebay but i am terrified it be fake and its at $39.99 ugggghhh I am the same way I usually dont have stores around me, but when I do I dont take my chances and I know that i get my items online.
thanks for the welcome!
I agree. I am NC45/MUFE 173 and after swatching the pearlmattes yesterday, they appeared to be faint highlighters. I have enough of those.I don't think these Pearlmattes will be anything more than a highlighter on deeper skin. That's the impression I got after swatching Flatter Me on my hand.
Okay, so it seems the reason is mostly related to being stuck inside for a few days. I still think it's a gamble to buy milk if power outages are expected, but I like the idea of putting it out in the snow!!! I guess my thinking will get more creative with things like that once I start having kids, haha. And Starlight, you'd better believe I already got hot chocolate and a bag of mini marshmallows!!well we don't fear a power outage we fear no driving for a few days until roads are clear. Where I live we ice up at a few inches and we are now expecting up to 20".
you need milk for the children and the babiesthey don't care if there is a storm or not. they want and need their milk LOL Especially toddlers, they depend upon it
I still have tons of dry food from the hurricane leftover so I just got fruit, milk, bread, water and hot chocolate. gotta have the hot chocolate!!
adding in: also if there is an outage, milk survives fine in snow outside![]()
Sorry. I no longer have Deeply Adored to sell, so janette and Vampy still need to find one.Don't give in to ebay!! ETA: I see CC has already jumped in to help you out with DA!
My nostalgia and love of pretty combinations is making me want even more stuff. That and a stressful week, 3 doctors visits, getting accepted to my university of choice (I'm going back to school in the Fall), and getting paid this morning. Are there any dupes for the pink in Caramel Sundae, Kiss and don't tell, or Feeling Good?
That's why I didn't get it. It's nice, but didn't make me weak in the knees. If it's only going to serve as a highlighter and for the $30 price tag, I need it to be more than just nice.I agree. I am NC45/MUFE 173 and after swatching the pearlmattes yesterday, they appeared to be faint highlighters. I have enough of those.
Aw, well at least you tried to help! You always do your best to help out your fellow specktrettesSorry. I no longer have Deeply Adored to sell, so janette and Vampy still need to find one.
Yup, that's what I said. I didn't swatch them to make a more direct comparison, but they look like a similar color in the tube. Kiss & Don't Tell seems brighter than Impassioned. I'm not sure if there will be much difference when applied on the lips. What a week!!! I'm happy to hear that some good things have been mixed in there too, though. Congratulations on getting accepted to the school you wanted to go to!!![]()
Regarding dupes, I think Da Bling is a near match for the pink shade in the CS quad. I'll compare my K&DT to other glosses in my stash (though I think someone, maybe CartoonChic?, said it's similar to Impassioned l/g, but not an exact dupe?). Feeling So Good I skipped because it looked like it would be a dupe for FoF (most recently from the GD collection), but someone who has both would have to confirm that. HTH!
Thank you so much. That's very sweet of you to say. I see you do the same thing.Aw, well at least you tried to help! You always do your best to help out your fellow specktrettes![]()
No problem, CC! Thanks for offering to help out!Sorry. I no longer have Deeply Adored to sell, so janette and Vampy still need to find one.
thanks! used it this morning. The 130 is dense but it blends really well...just use a small amount of product.
Thank you, I have Da Bling so I'll check that out, and I'll have a look at those glosses. I always get really drawn in by the newness of stuff and I'm bad for buying shades that are close to similar colors. What a week!!! I'm happy to hear that some good things have been mixed in there too, though. Congratulations on getting accepted to the school you wanted to go to!!![]()

LMAO!!!Might want to rephrase ur last part...![]()
Your Welcome Babes!! Let me know when you get it!!Yaaay! It's so purdy....thanks for letting me know. Off to order!
I'm so glad you like it too! RR is amazing!!Can I just say RR looks the bomb! I had one for BU but my cousin asked for it. I may have to find one more...
I'm thinking if you want the shimmer to be seen you may need to try the Fix+ with a more dense brush. Maybe the 239?Tried Black Poodle sample today with Shell CCB as a light base. I placed a bit in cap and sprayed Fix Plus on 286 brush. It was just plain black, no purple shimmer seen. I had to blend it out with Rich Core to make it wearable (with MM). Am I doing something wrong? I am just getting into pigments
