I am NC45 with dark mauve pigmented lips and I LOVE Betty Bright. It's my fave lipstick of the collection (though I haven't gotten DLG yet, and didn't get GND). I've always loved this peachy corally shade of lipstick but it always looks awful on me. I bought a tube of YSL Rouge Volupte in Peach Passion at one point; beautiful color, but hideous on me. But I took a chance again on BB, and its wonderful. It's more muted on me, a sheer peachy pink that brightens my whole face. I havent experienced the flaking that others have, but i do prep my lips with balm before i apply it. I just adore it and luckily snagged a BU. Hope this helps anyone on the fence about it!

ITA! I went to get KADT and took a chance on BB and I was surprised. Looks totally diff on WOC. I'm NC45 also and these colors usually look a mess on me. KADT is also very pretty. Thinking of getting a bu b/c it's rare for these colors to work on me. I didn't have any patchiness either. I used it w/prep and prime and without and it was fine. They're both soft and pretty without being boring or nude. Just thought i'd chime in since i think WOC are sleeping on these.

I got it even though I couldn't *really* see any color, BUT it works perfect in... I dk how to describe it! It's soooo pretty. It's like a barely there color, that adds sheen, takes away redness AND luminizes (I'm just throwing words in there LOL) the face! It's so pretty! And it does NOT look ashy in photos. I'll try and post mine later when I am on my own computer.

I put the brush set on hold last night at my local MAC and just picked it up. It was the last one; when I heard, I think I made a noise like, "WHAWOHJFIOANHOHOLDHOLDHOLHODHJOJHOLDHOLD!!" It's my first MAC brush set, so I'm excited to see how it pans out. They're drying now.

I got a booklet about Archie's Girls in the mail yesterday. Now that nearly everything is sold out. Good thing i got what i wanted when it debuted on mac.com. Are the people at MAC really not clued in to the rabidity of MAC fans?

I joined Spectra based on this collection. I have never been so excited for a collection. I was hoping I could get advice on if I should get Prom Princess or not? I'm NW20ish with large cheeks (as you can see in the photo) I tend to go for peaches (I bought Cream Soda), but I wanted your opinions because I value them. Thank you for all of your wonderful posts, they have made me love this collection even more.

I didn't even bother going to my MAC event everything was sold out. The store closest to me is Sh** I actually believe some of the employees buy the stuff up to sell because no matter the collection no matter how early you go the good stuff is sold out. Sorry I had to rant

So my package which was ordered from mac on jan 30 is LOST. I will not be getting my items.i was told i would be getting the money credited back since the items are no longer in stock.SMH. Honestly i dont even want them anymore. I barely slept for 3 days waiting for the collection to come out from mac since theres always a surprise with them online,and almost 2 weeks waiting and wondering where my package is. I dont think ill be ordering L.E products from mac.com anymore ill just wait for one of the other stores.

Unbelievable that this happened to you!!!!! I hope that some way, some how you can get what you wanted from AG. Perhaps some of us here can help, if you'd not the items that you want.

So yesterday I had my appt for 4:00 pm at Nordstrom and I had it scheduled with my MUA that I love and was so excited....well things went horrible. First she got booked doing a full face prom and that takes 1 hour so she told me to come back at 4:30 so I did and well she wasn't done. She didn't get done till 5:00...oh well no biggie I had time sorta. She sits me down and then she goes to get products and tells me that shes in overtime and has to leave </3 I get this girl who is a freelancer and well it terrible, seriously my 6 year old has done my make up better She used the veronica palette and it was horrid. I felt bad for her too. It took 1hr to do my eyes....we had to take some off and wash and just nothing was working. I just wanted to get my stuff and gtfo I get up and tell her what I want, well they were sold out of most...just barely. I was so irritated I had been there for 2 hrs and I could have had everything I wanted. I guess that's my fault. This has never happened to me and I have been shopping at MAC for over 10 years.

Haha I come home and my bf was like ya you better wash that off.....and he loves dramatic bright makeup

Hi KissMyLips, I'm sorry this happened to you too (see my original post above). MAC CS assured me that they would be able to fulfill my order so I can't understand why they would just offer you a credit. I would call back and let them know that other people in the same situation were given conflicting information. I am supposed to call at end of business day today if I don't receive my order and they said it would be sent next day air. I'll come back and update tomorrow.
