Ladies we promised to keep you updated so here we go: we emailed MAC.nl cs.. They responded saying they are truly sorry for not being able to deliver the lipsticks pink pigeon and party parrot anymore, technical trouble blabla. They offered us, well one of us, a free item. They also said they would give us our many back within a few days. But still no pink pigeon or party parrot for us...

You can get any free item you want? WTF I want a free item too! They couldn't send me my order of 4 Heroine lipsticks (they were for cp's) and I had to find it out when I called them when my order status still hadn't been changed after a week
I'm sorry you couldn't get PiPi and PaPa though, but they are very popular colours so they could be repromoted again. Definitely keep an eye out for the pink lipsticks in Fashion Sets, because Embrace Me could be really close to PiPi!

I wish I had ordered some extra's of the lipsticks for cps when I had the chance If they come back as an online only I could order them for you if I'm able to and you would be ok with that.
I'll send mac cs an email about the free lipstick. It's worth a try! I think that would make sense if it was a lipstick indeed. They have a ton of beautiful colours in their perm line, so I hope that will cheer you up a bit. If you want something close to Party Parrot you could try Impassioned.

Well glad to hear that they did show a goodwill gesture to you, girls!
I used to get upset about missing out certain items, but not anymore. In the end, the colours get constantly recycled, while formulas only get better!
And sometimes, you come across the items you've been dying to get at an unexpected moment. I completed missed out on Party Parrot, when IA collection came out, but my lovely CP friend from the US then gave me one as a present! It's lovely, but I cannot say it is the most amazing lipstick ever invented

Was this an online only release for us? Otherwise I can check for these lipsticks at Duty Free in Schiphol. They often have plenty of stock for the stuff that is long sold out everywhere else!.

lol. the Italian customer care, instead, says it's normal to not deliver a lipstick to a customer without a word.
No excuses, no free item, just normal to have my package at home and discovering my Pink Pidgeon was not in it.
Bad bad service, bad bad customer care (and I will not order from them in the future... U_U)

I am sorry to hear of all the issues you ladies are having with the Dutch site. Lack of stock really is disappointing but keeping your funds and not delivering the product is ridiculous.

So, today i :
-- put on Strong Woman, which is too red for my taste, but i couldn't pass it up. I figure i just have to get used to myself in the color.
-- Next I lined all around with Velvetella and blended it into the lipstick a bit.
-- Then i put Nightmoth in the corners of my lips, drawing a sort of triangle, and blended it so it wouldn't look stark.
-- Finally i put VG N2 lipstick in the center of my upper and lower lips.
Not fully ombré because i was blending, but nearly so. Also, my lips aren't thin, but they're not really full enough for a major ombré.

Then I did a fairly light neutral eye:
-- Preferred Blonde from lashes to brows (i love this e/s! It's HG!).
-- Summer Haze in the outer crease and V-ing down a little on the lid, and winging up and out a bit.
-- NARS Abyssinia in the center of the lids.
-- Then i tight-lined with a slightly shiny dark brown liquid liner.

Finished with NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder (just love this stuff!) on my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead.

I actually think that is quite rude of customer care!! Have you tried sending them an e-mail so maybe another employee is a bit more helpful towards you?

They said it's normal for them because they don't know the real stock they have, so even if you order an item they say it's alavaible, you
can have it not delivered without a single word. (I really wonder how other websites like ASOS have ideas of their own stock... maybe they are capable of miracles U_U)

They also suggested me about subscribing the newsletter to be updated but when I protested because they usually send their newsletter after a few days from the real release, they replied it's normal, a precise strategy.

So I guess they hadn't the will to actually really reply me... for them bad customer care it's normal. They don't care about their customers.
It's unbelievable to me this situation.

That's a complete idiot thing for them to say they don't know what their real stock is. And I don't believe it either! Well I can only give you this advice (which you probably thought of yourself already). In the future there will be more mac italy (online only) releases. If this is the case than ask for a CP on specktra and do it as soon as you know this collection will become available. Unfortunately I do not have internet at my work so it will probably be too late by the time I'm home from work. But i'm sure other people will help you out if they can! I know that it does not help you right now and it's maybe not the answer you were hoping for I understand, but maybe in the future it will help you.....
