MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

So my box is here.

Lipsticks:

Embrace Me: very pretty deep but hot pink. in the same family as Candy Yum Yum and Pink Piegon but i guess the more "tanned" of the three lol. it's identical to the pencil.

Silly: it looks simple to me. Nothing really special to me. Have not tried on my lips but if i do and nothing i'd rather not have that one

Heroine: of course i love! identical to the old one. no changes, thank God.

Ablaze: nice!!! actually more surprised about the color than i expected to be. Very apricot/permission (did i spell that right?) color. The brightest of them all. Real stand out.


Heroine Liner: it's like 90% close to Magenta! but magenta has that two toned appearance to it, Heroine is nice.

and i haven't opened up the rest of the stuff yet i got tired lol.

Persimmon. Permission is something totally different. XD

My mom's credit card number (not the card itself) was stolen this past summer. Someone charged almost $2000 on it. My mom called each of the online companies, and one actually gave her the name and address of the person the purchased items were being shipped to (NC). She called the attorney general's office and our state police and they refused to investigate. She called the NC state police and they said that they could only open a case if our state police contacted them. She called our state police again and they still refused to investigate. Thankfully only one item had actually been shipped out. Some other items were pending (then cancelled after she contacted the company) and some were automatically denied. They bought speakers, music equipment, an ipad and even a program that blocks IP addresses. Thankfully her money was put back on her card. Unfortunately they got away with it since the police refused to do anything about it, even tho my mom did all the investigating and even had a name and address!

Jeez! That is crazy! Sorry for your mum, but I'm glad it all got sorted out in the end. That's really frustrating that no one would investigate. Also, I was reading earlier that Heroine L/L is sold out on Pro, does that mean MAC is out of it for good, or it might get restocked for us regulars?

That was fast! Are you regretting getting Embrace Me ls at all, having PiPi &CYY? You're making me more and more excited for Ablaze!

I'm starting to think they may actually launch this tomorrow for the rest of us.

As I read more reviews I keep getting more and more excited for Ablaze!! It really does have something unique to it that I think will set it apart from Scarlet Ibis and the other similar shades. I'm even thinking I may have to order a backup or go get one in-store! B2M HERE I COME!

so upset someone charged $300 on my card at neimun marcus and ive never been in that store. this ruined my day so all this stalking bull crap seems even more irritating. Im so annoyed

That's terrible luvlydee. Someone once charged something on my bankcard number twice. I saw it on my statement and went in to dispute the charge. Come to find out, it was someone in another country. It wasn't but a few dollars but still, it was MY few dollars and if I hadn't have caught it, they likely would have tried going for more. They started with a few dollars probably because they thought it wouldn't be noticeable. Hope you get your money back. I'm pretty sure you will though.

I feel like Ablaze is more orange while Hibiscus is more red. (Though I have seen swatches of Ablaze that makes it look orange in one light and more red in the other, so...*sigh*)

That is a good question! i really think that Scarlet Ibis is darker than Ablaze. And maybe Ablaze kinda goes back to that Apricot tone on the lips. I would do lip swatches but they are super chapped and i wont make your eyes bleed
