MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

Heroine L/S and L/G are up on temptalia... i'm sure the rest of the collection will be up through out the rest of the day. It's going to be the deciding factor for me I think whether or not I go to MAC on launch day to pick up any E/S that i didn't order..

haha. hmmm maybe get ablaze too. i would deff skip on silly and embrace me though. those two seem dupeable. not to sure if ablaze will be an easy dupe to find.

I think someone is giving temptalia some info on when these collections are coming.yet again she was right with this one. I hate that because it just is limiting us mac specktra from getting what we want.

From what I understand she is a PRO member and these went up a couple days ago for PRO and she does overnight shipping. How does 1 person ordering stuff to review on her blog that is read by thousands keeping anyone on Specktra from getting anything?
and sometimes MAC will send her samples of the collection because they know that anything she gives a review on will sell out. I kno some may not like her site but I think most people on Specktra find it very helpful!!
oh ya and she does stay up to stalk just like the rest of us here she mentioned it during an Archies review that she stayed up all night for three days to order the entire collection. then her box of samples arrived on the same day lol

Does anyone know how close Ablaze is to Sail la Vie. I don't think I could possibly wear Heroine, but if it's as gorgeous as every says on neutral to cool tones, maybe I should be ordering one for one of my daughters. Hm...

I don't like this lipglass at all, I wanted a creamy purple without shimmer. hboy: I'm now thinking about only getting Ablaze and Heroine lipstick and maybe Ablaze lipglass..

Well, that's the word that's out about them. But, you know, sometimes one person can't work with a product and another can, or someone thinks a color is too sheer and it's just right for someone else... Given the delay in release - maybe something to do with where the powders are manufactured? - there will probably be time for those of us near MAC stores and counters to test them. I know i want to give 'em a test. I may already have enough pink shadows, but i gotta look at Embrace Me and Silly shadows. I don't wear orange on my lips, but i do on my eyes, so gott check Ablaze shadow. And, well, just 'cuz, i will have to try Heroine shadow, even though i don't wear blue on my eyes very often.

The shadows just haven't been great in a long time, especially in comparison to other companies that are selling better products at a fraction of the cost. Ablaze lipglass is looking mighty pretty! I'm skipping Heroine lipstick and lipglass and hoping someone who really wanted it got one. What I really hope is that Heroine is the new Candy Yum Yum and we all know how that story ended!

Sorry this is so off topic and could't find it any where on here lol, but I see that you have Dior amber diamond for cheeks in the bottom of your posts... Do you recommend it and is it overly shimmery?

So much for no buy. I ordered Ablaze, but if it's neon I won't like it. Orange is a good colour on me and I wear it a fair bit. I have Sail la Vie and wore it all last summer. I also have Autumn Leaves, but that's more muted.

I can't imagine being able to wear Heroine with my strong warm undertones, but I ordered the lippie and the liner. If neither of my daughters pounce on it, I'm happy to sell it for (Canadian) cost here; I thought I'd get it since it's sold out in the U.S. and I'm sure there will be no shortage of people looking for one here.

I like it, but I have very strong warm undertones and I don't like glitter. It's a work friendly highlighter but it looked muddy on my cool/neutral daughter when she tried it. I'd swatch it first and see what you think; it's available at counters and at Sephora.

That would be awsome.. Thanks... Am also warm toned and dislike glitter and overly shimmery products... I also notice you have deep throat, I swatched orgasm cause of it pretty color, but I felt is was overly shimmery... Would you recommend deep throat instead?
