So when the sets came up this morning I bought the lipstick, lipglass and lip pencil for Heroine, Silly and Embrace Me, now I think I'm gonna go back and buy all 3 nail polishes and I think I might want all 4 eyeshadows.

Thanks for comparing it to hibiscus. Thought they might be similar. I love hibiscus.... thinking of passing on ablaze shadow. It rreminds me if the orange from Mickey contractor. I'm on my phone so it might look different in real life.

Wow, I just woke up and tried to keep up with 200 new threads. I finally read them all.

Yesterday I was thinking "Nah, I don't need any MAC polishes. I won't pick any of these up." Now i'm waiting on seeing pictures of the others to see if I want to get them as well. HA. I want to see what Ablaze and Silly NPs look like on the nails. I recently wore one of my MAC polishes and was very happy with how long it lasted on my nails, so this is making me hopeful. Most NPs i have chip much faster than this one did.

I've never had good luck with MAC polishes. They always streak when applied. And they chip after a few days. They really don't last any longer than a polish from the drugstore on me. But, Heroine is such a pretty color! It's worth the chipping just to have it!

Thanks for the comparison PixieDancer! Ablaze does look pretty similar to LAP, just a different finish. I think I personally like the matte version better.

I feel that China glaze grape pop would be a good dupe for Heroine nail polish, also OPI funky dunky (which I have), but I don't know if that's available anymore.

yeah I could have sworn I'd seen that color somewhere before. I wish Mac had stayed true to color with the heroine eye shadow and polish

Yeah, I've experienced the streaking as well which I'm sure no one is a fan of, esp. at that price point.

Heroine np is taunting me. Based off of the promo pics, it's not really what i was expecting. Do you think you'll take the plunge?

Ablaze liner seems to be pretty close to Lasting Sensation, which I already have. That's OK because I love that liner. I have so many liners and I tell myself I need to get back into the habit of actually wearing them. It's such a noticeable difference when I do, depending on the color. Even more excited now after seeing Christine's swatches. I was going to skip Ablaze lipglass because I have colors like it such as Caqui, but I cannot turn down anything orange or coral. Happy I skipped all the other colors.
