I am sooo definitely NOT on Team Self-Control.

I got to my local MAC store about 15 minutes before opening. I was the first one there. Then two more people showed up. And then a fourth. I walked in first when they unlocked the door - i had been the first one there and everyone else was behaving politely. But the SA asked the woman BEHIND me what she wanted. So after she finished, i walked up the the SA and asked for what I wanted. I was concerned because at least two of the other customers were buying dupes.

And what did i get?
-- ALL THREE Skinfinishes. I only tested Double Definition and Shape the Future, but i was already sure Definitely Defined would be good on me. Self-Control, score Zero
-- two blushes, Bareness and At Dusk.

I mentioned i'd ordered the eyeshadows on the web, and the SA said that was good because they'd only gotten four of each!

I also told one of the women shopping about how it took a while to get the coating off the blushes, but afterwards the colors would be much better. Just trying to help out a fellow MACaddict.

And when i got home the UPS truck drove up and the driver had my little black box in his hands. Woo-hoo!
-- Triple Impact e/s
-- Smoky Mauve e/s
-- Opalesse e/s
-- Zestful e/s
-- the 128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush (the eye brush looked too big for me)
-- and also Archie's Girl Betty's Lucky in Love Pigment
Awesome haul!!! ENJOY!

I've never used a Z Palette . . .are they magnetized plastic like the MAC palettes or magnetic metal on the bottom? My pots don't stay put in the duo palettes without a magnetic sheet added . . .I'm thinking with the added weight of the plastic and terra cotta, extra magnet strength may be needed. I'll try t without first and report back.
The magnet in the Z Palette is stronger than the MAC Palettes IMO. Not sure if you will need reinforcements for what you want to do though...

Not sure about the inside of it, but it's not made of plastic. It's a thicker cardboard.
Okay so I got my flaming chic blush and the the waxy layer is there. I already saided I was going to use my nars baton brush to remove the wax hello that thing buff anything away be its still very sheer have anybody got that waxy thing off? How did u do it?
Take a qtip and run it over the top layer once or twice. The layer will come right off.

i know the pic is low quality since i used my phone in my room to take this pic lol but wanted u guys to see Flaming Chic on me. I finally got it to show up. I had to scrub like i was cleaning something with one of my brushes until i saw the 'top layer' was starting to wear off lol and thats when it started to show up on my skin ETA: i also had put macs face and body on my cheeks before putting on the blush
You look beautiful!! You like it??? Say yes! Lol..

Looks great on you!! I just swatched mine to compare to Bite of An Apple, and I had to literally dig in to get the color. Wonder what's going on with that! Going to swatch Fiery Impact and see if I have the same issue.

So i thought i was happy with my small online haul of zestful, tripple impact and bareness and then stupid me went into the store today and ended up getting at dusk and doubke def. did any other pale ladies get double def, i was a bit worries it would be too dark for my skin but the bronze colour is so beautiful. The MA said i could always use it as a shadow, and in my head im going "uh no, erine said there not eye safe!" Lol I probably will probably try it tho, my eyes arent sensitive at all. Now im done with this collection!

I went to MAC today and I swatched the blushes and flaming chic did not give me much color payoff but I bought fiery impact and it gave me good color but it has to be built up to the intensity u desire but its very glow from within type blush

I got Shape the Future instead of Definitely Defined. So I just have to wait until they ship me the right one. Not sure if I should keep or sell STF.

So, I stopped by the mall and picked up Definitely Defined EDSF(omg, I have so much love for this

), Triple Impact EDES, At Dusk EDB and Fiery Impact EDB.

While I was browsing the blushes, the MUA offered to try some on me. When she chose Fiery Impact, I almost said no since that was the only one I wasn't originally considering. I'm glad she convinced me to give it a shot, b/c I really like it. I tried it on bare skin, and I had no issues with pigmentation. I will probably use a lighter hand since it seemed a tad darker once I got outside, but I am pretty sure I'll keep it. I decided not to go with Flaming Chic since I almost never touch the blue pink blushes currently in my collection.

They still had quite a bit of stock left, so I decided to think about it tonight and if I still really want something tomorrow, I'll head back during my lunch break.

Definitely Defined EDSF.. Top to bottom : light part of it, darker part of it, mixed together. I love it so much! It's definitely shimmery.

I can't wait until mine gets here tomorrow! I love how it looks mixed together. Thanks!

Okay, as amazing as Zestful sounds &looks I think I may have to just pass on it because I really don't think I'd get enough use out of it.

I'm never ever ordering from Macy's again!
When I opened my box, I thought it was weird because my boxes had smudges of the makeup on them. Plus every single one of my items were opened, and the product was just sitting loosely in there. Each box had an opened flap.
Then I looked at my Shape the Future and there are two clear finger swipes on it in the lighter part, and a little chunk missing out of the darker like someone tested it!
My Double Def. looks okay, doesn't look it it was touched.
My Def. Defined has a tiny hairline crack in part of it.

I'm really annoyed because I paid full price for these, and I get one that has finger marks on it? Really?

Nordies would NEVER have sent me anything like this.
I can't return them because Macy's will charge me $7 just to ship it back! But I feel like they should know about it because it's messed up to send someone a makeup item that's been tested by someone else like that.

I stopped at Macys to pick up "part 1" of my hold and even by Specktra standards it is embarrassing to post but I will proceed Shape The Future x 2 Double Definition (would have been the better back up option) Fiery Impact x 2 (I swore I would) Blazing Haute Flaming Chic Triple Impact x 2 Opalesse x 2 Smoky Mauve (will try with Frozen Violet PP) Zestful (will try it with Backlit, Jet Couture, Lunar EDES) Heroine Lipgloss x 2 (plus prior 2) Heroine Lipliner (BU but unnecessary now since will be repromoted) I was shown the BB brushes and they were lightweight and flimsy IMO Mooncake and Eclair are beautiful but I didn't ask her to hold them I saw the summer collection when I left and began to yell some unspeakable things I still have the 235 brush, ablaze lipgloss and some other items to pick up at Nordies on Sat which is nagging me cause I need funds for TR and the mineralize collection

Contact CS for Macy's. They are pretty good about righting a wrong with delivered items. I assume you don't have a Macy's store near you...I have one near me but it doesn't sell MAC. But you should definitely be able to get replacements or a refund based on what you received. It's possible that whoever delivered your package opened it...who knows! Either way, contact them ASAP!
