MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

HJ can be a bit intimidating for us gals that are orange-cheek shy, but this is a lovely combo. I really hope it works for you. Let me know after you try it.

It is! It looks beautiful on everyone though so I'm thinking a very light hand and a lot of blending. Maybe the 187 to apply it? Saying that, I couldn't get Fleur Power to look right on me either. So damn pale, lol.

Yep, I used the 187 & did it lightly. You look like you should be able to wear any color!

REALLY had to stop myself from forcing liners on all these new orange lippies!  I am ADDICTED to lip liners, but I think these shades look best on me worn alone.  For example, I have Flamingo from the previous release.  Thought I didn't like it at all... just didn't "do" anything for me really.  Stored it away.  This release had me dusting it off and just swatching it quickly on my lips, NO liner, and completely different result!  Went from "MEH" to "LOVE" in a couple swipes.  I was happy to grab a BU from the secret site the other day since it's a lustre and I know they go quick! (I'm looking at you Venus lippie!) I look a little awful in this pic cause I'm sooooo sick w/ the worst cold/sinus crap EVER right now (due to all my traveling lately I imagine)... BUT that doesn't stop a TRUE makeup addict from trying her new Sushi Kiss lippie today!  NC30/35 for reference. Hope everyone scored what they wanted!!!   AND SHELLCAT... I'm going to need to see those TD & S&S lippies on you PRONTO missy!  HeeHee  But seriously, I do!

Here's some more swatches for the swatch party! Coral blushes on NW15-ish skin.

From left: Cream Soda, Immortal Flower, Royal Sunset, Honey Jasmine, Ripe For Love, Tarte Tipsy Everything is MAC except for the Tarte one, three swipes of each. RFL is the most pigmented, the darkest, and the one I like least on me. Love HJ! It was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad I bought it! IF is my favorite though because I love a subtle blush.

It's perfect for when I want an orange but nothing to strong. I'm thinking of pairing it with chicory liner just if I need some more color or give it a boost.[/COLOR]

I didn't have any chalkiness, all the shadows were nice and smooth, i didn't pack a ton of color on though. I like that this quad can be an entire eye look because of the different finishes in it, and it can be great for day-evening, depending on how much color you use .

Do the e/s apply smoothly? I hate it when we get a chalky e/s in the quads.

Swatch of AOO's sweet pop. While I never buy MAC nail polishes (this actually my 1st) since they're a tad streaky, $$ and there's far better options in the market. This color is beautiful. Makes my hands look tan!! Yay.

Oh, & speaking of Dior all you pink/blush lovers. I just got the Dior Glow blush in Petal. Its THE prettiest flush of color EVER! It may kick all my other pink blushes to the curb. It kinda blends with your own skin tone & actually makes the skin look lovely instead of just being a blush that sits on top of the skin. It gets 10 :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: from me. I think any skin tone can wear it.

Thanks for this! I've just started hoarding blush so I'm on the hunt for any super pretty ones.

Woke up late and rushed to the counter. I tried on all the lippies after I sanitized them. I got a flamingo bu ( my first bu in 10 years!!! last one was playboys bunny pink). I also got sushi kiss and sweet and sour, with IF, RS and HJ blushes ( since when am I a blush heaux?!) lol already hit razzledazzler at at the Cco a couple weeks ago and will get neon orange some other time. I need Lg or something tho SnS. is kinda drying
