Im so upset i missed it when it first came out this weekend. I didnt even know Sephora was doing ariel until monday and thats when i looked and it was sold out ariel is my favorite princess from disney. I still have the original VHS and i have the dvd version when disney released it from the vault. I already hate stalking for mac but now i gotta do it for this now? I'm a sephora VIB and i think we shoulda had notification and first dibs on this cuz i mean at this point who isnt a beauty insider? And whats the point of spending money being VIB if I dont get what i want. Aaaand this is the first time im actually mad at the ebay prices for this ::end rant:: I am however happy for those of u who got it here because at least i know u guys really wanted it also. ^_^

^ Hopefully they restock soon, I'm sure they will. And I agree they make it sound like the Beauty Insider is so exclusive but all you have to do is make an account. It should have been a VIB offer at least a little earlier. I still have my original VHS too it was actually the first movie I ever owned since it came out the year I was born lol I used to drive my parents crazy w Ariel

Got my palette! Omg it is so beautiful! Packaging is so stunning. I love that it has brighter/bolder colors. The Cinderella is more neutral. Which I love as well. I hope the rest comes out soon. I've been checking constantly. And I feel as soon as I turn my back it will come out.

I feel the same lol although I think that the palette and mirror are the big things to worry about vanishing quickly, I still don't want to miss out on the gloss set!

4:22 P.M. The customer was not available on the 1st attempt. A 2nd attempt will be made.
Great. They came earlier than usual, AND decided they wanted me to actually accept the delivery instead of them just leaving it at my front door, which is what they've always done in the past, even with wine (which they're really supposed to have someone sign for).

But wait, there's more...

I checked the status this morning to make sure it was on the truck today. Instead, I see this:

Shipment is held to verify commodity description with the customer for correct classification. / Delivery rescheduled.

Um...what? Even better is that at the top of the page it says "This shipment has cleared customs." Well gee, that's good, considering it's just eye shadow and a lip gloss (products I've ordered a hundred times before) from Sephora (a store I've placed orders with dozens of times before). Since when does this stuff need to go through customs or have its description verified?

Called UPS. They said their system shows the package as being on the truck to be delivered today, but they'll call the driver to make sure. About half an hour later, they call me back. "So the driver doesn't see the package on the truck...but that doesn't mean it isn't there. It's probably not very big, right? He might have just missed it. The people here say they scanned it and put it on the truck this morning, so it should be there. He might not get to your home until later this evening, at which point we'll be closed, but here's our phone number so you can call us if there are any issues." I asked about the weird status about the shipment being held, and the response was, "It could have just been that the box was badly damaged and needed to be taped up a bit before delivering it to you." Riiiiiight...

I am beyond pissed right now. I mean, I guess it could've been something more serious that I was having delivered, but it's still Disney and LE, you know? And if the package doesn't come tonight (not holding my breath for THAT one) then I'll have to go through all the bull with UPS and Sephora to either have a new palette and gloss sent to me (which Sephora might not even do if it was a "glitch" that it was up online so early in the first place) or get my money back.

Getting scared UPS might lose my Tropical Taboo stuff when I place my order later this month...

Sorry to hear this happened to you. Hopefully you can get the situation cleared up. Sounds like someone at UPS dropped the ball on this. Is there a way you can talk them prior so that this doesn't happen in the future? I would hate for your Tropical Taboo stuff to get lost because of a mistake on their part.

Still stalking for mirror and rollerball. I also can't wait to smell the fragrance. I thought Sephora would have had it up by now :/

I got mine today too girl!! It's just stunningly gorgeous isn't it?! ; ) I can't wait to play with it & do different looks! I'm just dying for the rest of the collection to come out, I keep checking constantly too! My guess is this weekend since the palette released early last weekend. Idk..I'm definitely going to be constantly checking Sephora's site! I don't want to miss out on any single thing in this collection! Did you decide to get the Jasmine roller ball? I want to get the roller ball for the Ariel collection. I love the quote on it, 'true love is beyond words' Beautiful!!

My palette was initially scheduled for today then it showed early delivery for yesterday... The UPS man came gave me 2 other packages and said that was all.. I checked on my iPad and the delivery was updated back to today... I was like urghhhh....lol. I checked this morning and it's out for delivery

Blue lagoon, scuttle, flounder,sebastian, flotsam,seashells, les poissons, caspian sea, your voice and unfortunate souls Atlatica, fins, sick of swimmin, ursla, sha la la la, triton, wandern free, jetsam, sea witch and tresurs untold I don't really care for scuttle and flounder they both seem chalky other than that I love the palette!!!!

I never got an email either and I'm VIB too... I just happened to see Temptalia put up it'll be releasing sometime in June and I just checked Sephora and there it was.... The other collections we got notified about it. Did you ask to be emailed when it becomes available again? I hope this time you'll get through.

I tried out my palette this morning, and I like it. The colors blend very well. However, they absolutely have to have a primer underneath them or they won't stay. I'm glad I got it, and the colors are fun, but I'm not sure it's worth $55. If it weren't for the gorgeous packaging, I probably wouldn't keep it.

I really think the way Sephora released this was a mess. I don't buy that it went on the site due to a glitch in the system. I think they wanted to stagger the release to drive up sales, but thanks to the negative comments, they're probably waiting for more palettes to come in stock so they can release everything at once. As a VIB, I would definitely appreciate an e-mail when things come out, but I don't really pay for the service as I would be buying those products anyway, and they're not VIB exclusives. I definitely think we'll get an e-mail when the collection launches, and people will still be angry because the majorly coveted items will sell out in an hour. However, I do hope everyone gets their items and that Sephora was smart and manufactured more mirrors and palettes.

I doubt talking to anyone about it would help for future deliveries, and since I don't really have another option when I order things online, I guess I just have to hold my breath and hope for the best. Maybe someone at UPS just doesn't want me to have Sephora... the only other package that they really screwed up delivering was delivered to a vacant apartment a few doors down from me, and that happened to be a Sephora package too.

UPDATE: Status on UPS tracking site says my palette is out for delivery today. I might call UPS anyway, just to double check on that and to make sure the delivery person leaves it at my front door if I'm not home. I hate the "we tried to deliver but couldn't because no one was home so let's do this all over again tomorrow" game.

I doubt it's completely sold out.  When the whole collection releases online, it will likely be available again, and it doesn't hit stores until August.  Have hope!  But I agree that VIBs should've gotten first notification, absolutely. Yea i know its not sold out i just dont want to miss it online again so now i have to stalk which is annoying even though i asked to be emailed i dont want to be emailed after its sold out again. I called my sephora yesterday to see if they had it in because sometimes they get things earlier than usual but no luck. Im just impatient i want it now! Lol

Yea i asked to be emailed but im not sure if sephora is like mac when they send notifications after things are gone lol I also have a feeling after its available i might be over it. Since i have so many shadows already lol

I didn't buy a palette for myself. Only for a CP. I'm more interested in the mirror, but the box and swatches I've seen are very pretty. I'm not as crazy about eye shadows as I am about nail polish, lipstick and blush. Probably because it takes more work to apply.

Why it was up all weekend? It was probably the IT people posted last Friday and IT, management, and shipping usally takes the weekend off so no one noticed.

^ They do launch at weird times, I think things should go up at 12am on release day. Like as soon as it's officially release day, put them up. I don't see why the time always has to be a secret. I'm lucky bc I'm a night owl, the earliest I ever go to bed is 3am so I'm usually up for the Mac oddball hours. I miss collections when they go up at 8/9am lol I am dead asleep then

About the page thing, when Jasmine first launched it still said Disney Cinderella so that's not the first time. The only thing I think might have been a glitch was that the VIB emails didn't go out?
