I know one art dealer I buy some things from has it set so no one can right click images (not even to open them in another window), but there are still ways around that, even. I assume a lot depends on what this type of forum is technologically capable of.
Frustrating dilemma, but perhaps someone has the perfect solution?

If someone wants to check if their image is stolen you can use google to search with an image instead of words. Maybe everyone already knows this, but I only just discovered this and it's quite a handy feature of google. You go where you normally search images and to the right of the bar were you type search terms there is a little camera. You can click on it and insert an image from your pc/notebook etc. or from an url. Google will compare it to other images on the web and you might be able to find out this way if your image is being used on other sites.

I never knew that feature existed. Thank you! Though I don't post pictures here, I have had some sports and scenery pictures stolen and reposted in the past on another website. It is maddening, and they weren't even pictures of me. I can only imagine what that would feel like.

You're welcome! Good to know I wasn't the only one not knowing about it. I don't think it works when multiple pictures are put together (like happened with Prettykitty and Hazyday) though.

Well I like seeing photos with the different products, especially limited edition because it helps us decide wether to buy or not. I will carry on posting my photos because I want to help and I will hope they will only be used for promotion or stuff like that. As long as they don't put my photo in a weird porn contacts site or something like that lol! Anyway, here's a photo wearing Flamingo. I got Razzledazzler but I still haven't received it yet so I'm using Flamingo and Ravishing instead these days (I know, not from AAO)

Thanks!! On my eyes I'm wearing Lucky green on the eyelid and Humid on the outer V and crease. Then I used Mint eyeliner on the waterline and also on the top eyelids diffusing it with 219 pencil brush.

Yup, therein lies the rub. Sadly there's no way to differentiate between people like me who are just busy and people who would just wait out a time restraint. That's why I think 500 or more sounds right. You can't just post to get your count up that much without being noticed. And hey, I figure I'll get to that total eventually. I'm just hoping I'll get to 250 before I hit the one year member mark! And somehow I doubt that, LOL!

I tend to agree with this. While I'm not averse to setting a post number limit (rather than just a time limit) 1000 posts is a LOT. I have been posting pretty regularly although not daily for several months, I share swatches regularly, but I've still got a way to go before I hit 500. One thing's for sure - if I couldn't see pictures until reaching 500 posts, I wouldn't have participated nearly as much as I have, so it would have taken even longer to get to that point, and I would have bought a lot less too!

I think it would be harder if we would say from 1000 post upward? Or 900? Something along those lines? I think it is easy to spot people who post to up their post count and do not contribute otherwise. Hmmm I'm not sure. Really thinking what would be possible. Isn't there a way to create a thread to which you have to invite people in order for them to be able to see it? Something like that perhaps?
Maybe a password other than what we use to sign in?

You are SOOOOOOOOOOO pretty!!! Thanks for sharing your pics - I've loved all of them.

On the photos being used 'elsewhere' - I certainly hope not, because there is one of my butt on here somewhere

Passwords might be okay but what about hackers and the chances of it being shared somehow? I think I like the idea of invitations. Maybe deans and the people that have been here long enough can decide which newbies can come into certain forums.
