Welp, if Mac was going to cancel orders they should've been working harder and faster to have it done by now. They need to get a grip. This waiting room business is not legit and early orders are on them, not the consumer. Seriously, they expect people not to go ahead and order when they see that they can? Please. If they cancel my order they can go straight to hell. I'll become even more selective with what I buy from them. They are not the beginning and the end for me. I don't go through this with any other brand. Not one.

I was talking about the idiots who flood the site with multiple devices and keep on refreshing etc, which also takes up bandwidth and makes THEIR internet slower on top of it. And place multiple orders. Normal people would not go to these lengths and it makes it harder for the rest of us to get our damn lipsticks.
Really?!? MAC should be prepared. This is 2013. The internet and mobile devices were not created yesterday. And for the record this is not the first time in the world of history AT ALL that MAC has had technical difficulties during a launch. They knew this was a big one and they should have been much better prepared for an "online only" launch. You need to chill.

I'm going to say that my order went through since I go an email confirmation even though I can't get back in my account to confirm. Here's what I did with the errors. I got the gateway timeout about 3 times. Each time I hit the back button to get back to the screen that says checkout and I clicked the checkout now button again. This happened 3 times then I got internal server error. I did the same thing but the button then said final checkout. I waited a long time then the white screen with nothing on it came up and sat there for a while. I just waited at that screen then I checked my email and noticed that I had a confirmation from MAC. I went back to my browser and I was at a black screen with jumbled writing that I couldn't really make out. I hope this helps. I think when you see the button that says final checkout you should not refresh or resubmit because you may get double charged.

I just got a white blank screen after 10 minutes on my phone. So the phones are glitching now too. BTW I've got an Android on the Verizon network.

I'm just like humble yourself please. You're trying to talk down on MAC addicts who are already pissed with this waiting room thing and get upset when they lash out back? Oh please...
I'm saying I guess we are alien shoppers we are not the "normal customers"

Everybody is frustrated by this process. You don't have to be so abrasive with expressing your frustration. Calling folks "idiots" and "stupid" over some makeup is pretty rude.

i cant even get on the site to make sure what i ordered went through...I got a confirmation but i need to make sure by checking all sources a million times!!! lmaoo
Me neither...I am also seriously behind on Specktra because everybody and their momma's are on here and the site is running very slow for me. :(

Let's chill, guys. It's frustrating, but let's not attack each other. Mac should be prepared for the traffic and using multiple devices doesn't make someone an idiot. If this thing launched like a regular collection, multiple devices wouldn't be necessary.

Went through the waiting room TWICE! Been over an hour. Just Time Outs and crashes! I'm almost over this crap. Gonna try one more time. Then I'm done. Guess the "Guests" will get them all. Yes MAC THAT seems very fair!
girl, just keep refreshing the gateway timeout when it stops, it will get past it it just takes forever, im going on over an hour on here!!! hope you get yours!!

Thing is, I cannot even access my orders through MAC to see whats happening with them. She swears that 3 of them are processing. I am clueless right now as to what is really happening.

So, cancel my orders & then don't let me back into the sight because their site can't handle it - sounds fair to me. aggh!

I told MAC CS they need to tell the hire ups that they should get their launch day shit together. LOL

I hadn't paid yet. I was in my shopping cart and was just about to pay when things went to hell in a handbasket.

I can't sign in, i can't check out.

Clearly MAC was NOT prepared.
