Sweet baby Jesus my order FINALLY went through. Although it didn't look like it via the site (checked PayPal & Bill !e Later and the charge shows...then got the email from both MAC and Paypal). My earlier order hasn't been canceled yet so if it doesn't I'll let you ladies know in case missed out. I ended up with the blush although I'm pretty sure I don't want it. I just got tired of adding items to the cart and started clicking "I want it all". I swear going through this mess ages you by at least 10 years,

If your order was cancelled, did you call in to fix anything on that order or verify it?
Nope! I didn't....and some people from this morning and last night are being cancelled it seems. I didn't want to get too cocky thats why I ordered anyway to be on the safe side.

Ok ladies, guess I will put my two cents in... Am I the only one who thinks that it is FAIR to cancel the orders, (although I wish they would put it back in your account fast) but it wouldnt be fair that some ladies got a headstart in the "race". I wanted this collection just as bad as the rest of you gals, but if a company states a specific time for something to release, then they should honor that...Now on to the next comment... geesh yall are wearing me thin with these comments, how can you get mad at MAC for honoring their original word!? Im sure if you missed out on this collection, you would be upset too that others got a headstart and ordered 3-4 lipsticks of one color....

I see your point...however, MAC themselves created the loopholes through which many jumped, myself included. It's like they're giving permission, and then giving hand slaps (and lectures) for THEIR mistake. That's what chafes my ass!

Oh and my order finally went through on my iPad mini...not my trusty LTE iPhone or my wifi enabled computer. Go figure! Mind you...my iPad is the wifi one so it was on the same wifi as my computer! I am officially done and need a drink!

Eh. I didn't mean to give thumbs up for this comment. No, it's not fair, in my opinion for orders to be cancelled. They should honor the fact that they put it up, sent out confirmation e-mails and took the money out of my account. Plus, you're not supposed to be able to order more than one of a particular color anyway. I don't know if anyone actually did that in one order.

Well, I agree that I would be upset if it sold out and people were allowed to buy over the quantity limit, but I don't blame people for placing an order when it went up on the site. If they wanted to make sure that people didn't order before the specified time, they should have done their testing "behind the scenes" or closed the site and put up a notice saying something like "site down to get ready for launch." There are plenty of things that they can do to make their launches more efficient but they choose not to.

I know, they should fire whomever thought it was a good idea to live test the pages last night. There are ways to test the functionality without putting into production.

i placed two orders, one w/ a big order w/ all three l/s over $150 to get free shipping.. has been cancelled.. no cancellation email but when I signed in it says cancelled..

second order was only the three l/s.. still pending..

this is pissing me off.. all were ordered before it "officially" launched

If MAC doesn't want early orders, then they need to fix their system IMO. Most companies that make mistakes honor them. It's not like it was a price mistake and we all got RiRi lipsticks for $1.65. It costs them nothing to honor the orders.
