I just posted my first ever rant on a company's FB page, I can't wait to get my canned response.

You should take a look at their twitter page! I decided to try again to order at about 6:00, just to see if it would work. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I didn't see anything about any backorders or anything and received my confirmation shortly thereafter. I'm assuming this means ill be getting my order in a couple of days?

When were you able to place your order? I'm wondering if they are shipping it in the order they were received since everyone had to get standard shipping

Between 11 and 11:30. I chose second day. I'm not about that standard life. Too impatient.

Still trying to get caught up. Just got home from work and noticed that they cancelled my order (before noon). Really, MAC?!? I didn't even get an email. I had to look at my order status to find out.

Bahahaha! Okay, not really. I already reordered Heaux and RRB. I still need my RRW BU though so I placed another order. I guess everyone either gave up or got what they wanted because I didn't have to "wait" at all. I got Oh Oh Oh BU too.

NaomiH, I'm upset they gave you a copy and paste response of Facebook. They commented the same exact thing on everyone's complaints, all they did was change the names for who they're talking to. Smfh...

I had other stuff in my order. Hell, just take the RiRi stuff out and charge me for and send my other stuff. I don't even have time for people that's been lurking here and getting info and links and what not and then are gonna all of a sudden come in here like they're holier than thou. I'd like to see the one that has a link presented to them earlier and is going to say "oh no, I'll just sit and wait to enjoy MAC's nice little waiting room". Yeah right. LMAO.

i dont get how Mac all of a sudden cares about being fair when every other release is whoever finds it and gets it first! if people were stalking the site and found the lipsticks to order than GOOD on them! they're obviously true addicts and deserve it still praying for my order lol

*~*I haven't posted in YEARS (literally haha), but this release was an all around hot mess. I placed 2 orders before 12, and 3 after 12 (those took me 3 hours to place). The ones I placed prior to 12 were cancelled, but the ones that were placed after are still pending. I will say this, I would not have been upset if those who ordered last night (& prior to 12) had their orders processed an shipped. IMO, since MAC had the option of adding the items to your bag and checking out (with a confirmation number received), then the items are yours, regardless of the set release time. If MAC wanted to make sure that no one ordered prior to release time, then they should have waited until then to make the items available to order. To those who are saying that they waited and didn't try to order prior to 12, that's all well and good, but please do not get upset at those who did. If MAC made them available to order, why should those customers be penalized? It's not like MAC's system was hacked, the items were on the site and available to order.*end rant* *~*

i agree, honestly who wouldn't want to order the products as soon as they're available and avoid the waiting room? I would have been one of those people also but for some reason it wouldn't let me check out last night it would take them out of my cart (turned out to be a good thing) but I would have been upset because its not the customers fault AND i would have been especially mad if my order had been canceled when they launched an hr or so earlier than planned because i mean come on...on the first RRW launch they were available 20-15min early and i was able to get my lipstick within 3-5min and would have thrown a huge b**** fit if they canceled my order!! haha

I was going to stay strong and not place another order out of anger, but I caved, tried again when I got home from work and also got through with no backorder status or anything in 7 minutes. I would think after they ship it you should, yes.

    Naomi Enriquez Thanks for your copy and pasted response, I sure hope you guys read your page and actually take what we are all saying into consideration and actually DO make changes to your launches. Not just this one, but the ones in the future as well. We choose to give you guys our hard earned dollars when we could go and get items elsewhere hassle free and I think you guys need to start taking that into more consideration. You have a nice evening.

It's just plain insulting! At least make me feel like you're trying to sooth me out of my rage, don't add fuel to the fire! LOL

Well, I hope mac ships as many backorders that are sold. And that backorders will remain available for several days.

I think if the l/s are still available for a long time (at least the next few days), it will keep the evil bayers from stalking and buying multiples because the prices won't go up very high. In other words, I'm not going to pay $30-40 for a lipstick if I can still order from MAC (even if it takes a few weeks to get here). That's going to take the profit out of the evil bayer's sales.

Lipsticks shouldn't be like concert seats. MAC can always make more (and they should).

Congrats to all who had the patience to get their Riri today--I couldn't do it because of work but I'm glad that some of you got through. Thinking about placing an order for July delivery, but I'll probably just save up for the MSF's coming out in July instead.
