Not that I'm trying to defend them but could you imagine working for MAC CS today? Talk about the seventh circle of hell.

Just an FYI, MAC was having issues with paypal, so if you checked out with paypal, most likely you're order will be cancelled or you will get an email saying to call in to verify payment. I had to reorder because the MAC CS person told me paypal cancelled it, and there was nothing MAC could do. So, just a heads up to check your emails often, especially if you paid with paypal.
That happened to me before and I missed out on a LE lipstick so I do not use paypal anymore when it comes to MAC. they shouldn't even offer it

Customer service lecturing people tripped me out as well. If MAC wanted to be fair, they should have established these rules and made it known before hand. Then when they saw things were going differently than they wanted, they make adjustments for future launches. Not try to change the rules in the middle of the game. If they wanted the collection to launch at noon, fine. But then no orders should've been accepted by the system before that time. They're obviously able to set things up to kick items out of people's carts. On top of that, the gall of a representative talking to a customer like that for buying their product. You ain't my mama! Wait, you mean a pre-noon order? Did it show as cancelled?
Pre-noon. It was last night. It was always pending until awhile ago. Now it says shipped on the site and I got an e-mail.

Well, i paid with PayPal, and so far my order has not been cancelled, either by MAC or by PayPal. My order went through about 100 minutes into the madness. All my stuff says "Pending" which is normal. I hope i'm not jinxing myself...
I paid with paypal as well and I think that's why mine went through. But I could be so wrong.

I had other stuff in my order. Hell, just take the RiRi stuff out and charge me for and send my other stuff. I don't even have time for people that's been lurking here and getting info and links and what not and then are gonna all of a sudden come in here like they're holier than thou. I'd like to see the one that has a link presented to them earlier and is going to say "oh no, I'll just sit and wait to enjoy MAC's nice little waiting room". Yeah right. LMAO.
I have to say that I was one of those who saw the link and waited. I just KNEW there was no way MAC was going to allow only the lipsticks on early and nothing else legitimately. Especially after they were cancelling some peoples riri woo orders because of them ordering over and over. I think people who are saying how much money MAC lost in this aren't considering the big picture.

I'm sure this mornings MAC meeting went something like this: "Tech guy who accidentally put the lipsticks up early, youre fired. Online sales team, lets inconvenience those few 3 lipstick buyers who thought they were cheating and make them start over. Lets make room for people who will buy it all so we can sell EVERYTHING out today, not just the lipsticks. Our plan is to make the cheats wait to see if their orders have gone through, the real buyers will get everything else 5 at a time. That equals more sales for us.They'll still get a few lipsticks if they're lucky after we cancel their orders. People will stay loyal to us no matter how stupid the waiting room idea is because we're MAC! Can't wait for fall! ;)"

I really believe this is the sales mindset that went on today at their headquarters lmao

I still reject this idea of cheating and playing fair. Again, it was on the site. We didn't put it there. We didn't find the Mac supply truck and raid it. They had it on the site, mistake or not. They need to own up to that.

For some reason MAC saying to everyone but me on FB that "its never our intention to disappoint our fans" really bothers me. I am a loyal customer.

YES. Unless PopSugar is really elite hacker Anonymous, MAC, you screwed yourself on this one.

I am wondering this as well. Will these three lipstick colors be available in the fall collection? TIA!
This is what MAC said on FB when a customer asked about the blush duo-take this with a grain of salt.

No plans to relaunch, but don’t worry! You’ll have another chance to join in on the fun when it returns in the fall as part of the next RiRi M∙A∙C collaboration.
