RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection (June 18, 2013)

MAC does this to us because we "allow" them to.  Their just purely wrong but because we put up with it " we all moan and groan" about the collection launch and then what . . . ..  when the next BIG collection launch we do the same thing over and over again... its just a cycle.  MAC knows this (its not right) but they know they "have" us so they continue on with these silly games.  I bet if we were to REALLY stand together and NOT buy from a few collections they would probably change they're mode of operation.  It seems as time goes on with each MAC release things get worse and worse not better.  And if MAC keeps playing these games they are really going to lose customers as Im sure they have already lost a few in regards to this collection. MAC or rather any brand for that matter can only do so much "playing games" before us the consumers get mad and really branch off to spending money on other brands or things.  MAC needs to really get it together!

Yep! Their CS lost me Asa customer. Their canceling my order made after 12 eastern time with no explanation pretty much did it for me. Slowly but surely they will lose customers if they don't change their practices

Yup! It seems like they are kicking out the Hello Kitty line & making room for Marc Jacobs. I love HK and all, but that makeup line from Sephora was a huge disappointment. Marc Jacobs seems like it will be nice, like Kat Von D by Sephora!

Yup! It seems like they are kicking out the Hello Kitty line & making room for Marc Jacobs. I love HK and all, but that makeup line from Sephora was a huge disappointment. Marc Jacobs seems like it will be nice, like Kat Von D by Sephora!

Ya everything was cute but I didn't feel like the products were anything special. I have high hopes for you Marc beauty! Don't let me down!!

On a serious note, I thought it stated during checkout that your items are secured once you receive a conformation number? Total chaos..

So you only ordered one of each item, but they STILL cancelled?

I ordered 1 per item per order after the launch time. Then made another order, just like most did with ririwoo and I just got on to see they cancelled one of my orders. Just crazy... MAC has always had a 4 item max... I didn't do anything against policy

GIrls- I'm not sure about the legal protocols- but where I 'm located if you establish a genuine relationship with a MAC SA from either a PRO store or even one of their department store sites-they do go out of their way to accommodate you-as in bagging aside orders prior to launch dates, This has been my experience now in 2 Cdn. provinces and 2 states in the US. Have any of you similar experience?  I know I'm not the only one where I've lived because sometimes the orders are so plentiful they are kept in bins below and behind the checkout counters. It might be be worth a try for all of you who have missed out on the online acquisitions.:bigthumb:

I have to say, the ladies at my store are always great and will do whatever they can.

It's about time HK got the hell out of Sephora. What an eyesore. Can they please take Charlotte Ronson with them? She's still kicking around the one I go to. Can't say I'm excited to Marc Jacobs makeup based on the promo images, but we'll see. Thank goodness for MUFE.

I think Charlotte Ronson might as well. I was so disappointed they got rid of carrying theBalm items and had Charlotte Ronson replace them!

That makes no sense at all! Even when it was AFTER launch time, the CS reps said we can make up to four orders, but only one of each item in each order. wtf

I wanted to like the HK stuff but every time i would swatch stuff it just idk something about it...

All I can say about the HK line was chalky, chalky, and chalky. I hated it. I think the only thing I was okay with was the 3-piece brush, not even the mini brushes, they sucked!

Honestly wtf is Mac thinking?!?! They could have easily just honored all orders, as they SHOULD have.. Not making people feel like they did wrong by ordering before 12. Nobody told us not to order before 12! Any other collection launch is you order when you are the morherfucking products on the site!! Wtf honestly I'm blown away that they would cancel orders simply because they were made before 12. Those people deserved their orders ! They checked the site early as anyone who knows mac collection release history would do! Sure if they ordered more than one of each item, I understand cause it was stated as 1 item per.. But really?! That's beyond rude Mac. Speechless !
