I'm still going to be checking order status online like cray...! I guess I'm not canceling my backorder, just because I know I might love RiRi Boy (I don't have UPA...)
I can tell you I have my Heaux lippy in my hand right now and my order status still says pending

Same with me, I was ordering for myself because my bday is today and was all excited about it launching the day before, but now I don't even know if I want my pending order to go through or not this has been such a disaster and I can't think of a time I have been this angry towards a company. :/

It doesn't make any sense. I never received an official cancellation email either. Only saw it posted in my account. It's been a few hours and I haven't checked my account again to see the current status of my other two orders.
Lol! Nothing should be sold out or backordered the way they're cancelling stuff!
Exactly! I'm almost thinking that back ordered status might be because of them trying to dig themselves out of this massive hole and nothing is really actually backordered. Then once that's done the backordered items will begin to ship out, but I could be WAY off on this.

I'm glad you called CS and got your recording forwarded to corporate. The regular representatives can't really do anything to change things. I think they're just a buffer for corporate. I don't want to even bother with calling. I think I'm going to send a strongly worded email instead. I'm much better writing out my thoughts than talking on the phone anyway.

I agree. A leaked link and a forum has nothing to do with how they're handling the situation, and it certainly doesn't explain cancelling orders placed after 12pm.

I have a kinda legal mind which sorts disagreements out with truth & facts. There are facts & there are facts & at the end of the day, the truth & facts win the argument (most of the time). It wasn't until the CS heard another side of the story that we could reasonably discuss what really happened yesterday.

And a forum & link had nothing to do with the server issues (told her that too)
