MAC has officially taken the money out of my account, but my order status still says pending .... I'm scared I officially do not have my hopes very high on receiving my items at this point.

Hey all. I just took time to read where I left off in this forum (around page 215) and I must say as I kept going through the pages, my anger about yesterday's fiasco just kept growing. After reading I decided to look at my order statuses.

My order that was made at 4:30 EST:​

RiRi Boy - Backordered​

Hibiscus Kiss- Pending​

My order at 5:15 EST:​

RiRi Boy- Pending​

Heaux- Pending​

I have a good feeling that my "pending" orders will be cancelled. I'm just sad now. I wanted this collection for my birthday. I been reading and stalking this thread for so long and when launch day comes, all hell breaks loose. This was supposed to be my birthday collection as I told my friends and family, some birthday this is. I know its just makeup but still I just have this feeling of great disappointment.

I just want to say I don't think you have to 'curb' your feelings. I know for myself I love makeup, the brands don't matter much but I just generally love the stuff. When I talk about it with my friends they just look confused like "Its just compacts full of colored powder, what's the big deal" but I love it for the ability to transform and the art form of it. I love it for the ability to give someone confidence and make someone look totally different. I think you have every right to feel disappointed for something you loved and wanted that turned out so bad.

Not to mention anything you wait and fight for for an hour + (or more for some ladies) you darn well better care about! This wasn't a casual 'Oh what's happening on the MAC website today? Oh Riri Loves MAC? Hmmm, guess I'll get a lipstick or three" Folks put in WORK because they wanted the item. It's a shame MAC couldn't respect that in cs conversations and cancelling orders.

yes, I checked this morning and thought my order is going to be cancelled any time now(I placed the order the night before launch date). Kept checking my status and it still says pending. Next thing you know, my UPS guy showed up at the door.

I just received my Heaux(even though my order status still says pending??!!). It is much prettier than I thought. A very rich berry color. I had some nude lippy underneath Heaux so the real color shows better on my arm swatch.

Frankly, I was so exasperated with waiting and numerous technical time-outs and glitches that once I was able to get on to order, I selected 'I want it
all' even though I didn't

I was so surprised to see my package. I was expecting my order to be cancelled any time as I am one of those "early stalkers". I'm in Upper Ottawa Valley and the MAC ships from Markham, Ontario here so it usually takes a day or two even when I opted for standard shipping. Hope you will get yours real soon!

Ordering yesterday was super draining! I hadn't worked that hard since getting Beyonce tix lol But after 2 cancelled orders, and placing another 5, I finally got 4 shipment notifications. One order is till pending. Got through with the last 3 orders in less than 5 mins total on my IPhone. Was so much quicker than the computer. I won't do my happy dance until I receive those black boxes though. Mac is full of surprises these days!

I did this too, and then removed what I didn't want from my cart at checkout. It seemed to get me there more quickly.

Hmmmmm. MAC charged me for both of my orders. One is cancelled, the other is listed as pending. I expected one to be cancelled since it was made before the launch time. I still don't understand how it's our fault for purchasing the lipstick before 12 when it was clearly available. This was bad customer service at its best. Smh.

One of my orders with RRB & Heaux were shipped but they cancelled my first order with the drops and blush

They should have canceled the one with just the lippies instead.

Sorry about that HOB.

You'll find something much nicer in Paris!
