This is how I felt about an hour ago...OMG SHE'S HERE MAH RIRI STUFF IS HURRRRR

Opened the box and Heaux wasn't there.

Luckily a friend of mine ordered one for me and I didn't know it!

I hope MAC replaces the obviously defective lipsticks, or at least sends out free return slips. All that hassle for the products and then they come broken smh. What a mess.

Thank you ladies! I was trying to find a dupe in my stash for Heaux, and I came close with a couple of Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks. If you add a little bit of Cherry Bomb to Cherry Picking and blot it down, you end up with something pretty close to Heaux, just a bit deeper and more berry depending on how you mix it. I'll try it again tomorrow with less Cherry Bomb.

On a side note, Cherry Bomb by itself is what I was kind of hoping for with Heaux, but I think TTT is going to be similar to wnw Cherry Bomb.

I think that we have never had this issue with lipsticks from other collections before.

Two of my lipsticks arrived all nasty, funny thing is I also ordered some from the AAO and the only ones that were effed up were the Riri ones but everything else came is fine.

Okay so this was me in RiRi Boy earlier - trying to live up to the name!! It was a very much rushed look as I had about 20 mins... So yeah - Hot Mess Realness!? =P I loved the application from the tube, I know it's going to be AMAZING with a lip brush! =D I can't wait to try my RiRi Woo!!  STILL NEED TO GET A HEAUX THOUGH!! Hehe

Sharviss, I haven't seen you in Heroine, but I could definitely see where RRB would be more wearable for you. Less harsh. I think RRB suits you well.

Finally got around to swatching all of these (wore Heaux already). Top to bottom: Heaux, RiRi Woo, & RiRi Boy (the decapitated victim also shown moments before it broke completely off). I have to apply RRB with a brush since it's broken. I am tired of waiting for MAC to come up with a resolution so I decided to try it. They'll have to replace it or refund me

With all the seemingly defective lipsticks I'm beginning to think MAC may have backordered the collection because they needed time to reorder a new batch of RiRi lipsticks.

During the initial stages of the items going live I believe they caught wind to the damage and made the decision to ship out what was already packaged. With all the pre-orders, cancellations and backlash that ensued(CS inquiries) it would have required way too much to then cancel additional orders due to damage. With all the drama (order cancellations) I find it hard to believe that the damaged lipsticks are a coincidence. It must have been a major part of all the difficulties last week. M-A-J-O-R!!

I was out of town working, missed the release, and ended up with no items from the collection. Sort of sad about it. However, after reading the hundreds of pages of posts, to call this release disastrous would be an total understatement.

Make-Up really shouldn't be this stressful!
