So we're agreed? 20% off does not constitute a sale on makeup and Sephora needs to step it up. And free shipping, no minimum for VIBs.

Agreed.... now if they gave us free shipping like mac does then that'll be another story. I hate paying shipping for things that I can't find in store, thats almost a nail polish lol

There most likely won't be a sale until later this year, and I believe last year it was only for true friends and family, then I think they had one for VIBs.
thanks !!!
Whoa, them be fightin' words!!  lol  :boxing: Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not likely to be convinced to buy something for just 20% off.  But at least it's on my radar at that point.  25% is when I seriously start considering a purchase, and 40% is when I start to really get excited  The 50% off on some of the UD liners, for example, forced me to order $50 worth of them to get my free shipping. They do it twice a year, so it'll be around again later this year.  I think it's usually November, but I'm sure someone here can verify that!
Thanks !!!

If you have a Sephora inside JCPenney, go there and ask for the product you're looking for. If they don't have it and you have a JCPenney's card, they can order it for you in store and you won't have to pay shipping. They have to order it for you though, and you have to be present. Usually they will make you speak to the mail order person on their phone to verify the charges.

I've gotten some things that never showed up there that way without the shipping charges, mercifully.

Maybe I should have waited for the mirror, the urban decay liners I ordered last week somehow went from indianapolis which is about an hr from me to Florida now my tracking on UPS says An exception in the sorting process has occurred. UPS has taken corrective action,

This happened to me once, the tracking said out for delivery that day then it never showed and I checked and somehow it had gone to Pennsylvania! It came the next day

Sephora just lost some of my money. I was going to spend around $100 when this came out. But now I only have enough money in my account to cover the mirror. Sucks for them.

Well I am officially over this collection, and it hasn't been released yet. I asked in Sephora last Sat. when everything would be released and was told sometime this summer (probably July). But of course they couldn't tell me exactly when or what date.

I'm really hoping the collection launches soon but I kind of have a feeling that it won't until more towards the end of July. Still don't see why they can't give us any kind of status update esp since now they look silly for saying it would be online in June...

After this collection is done I'm done shopping at sephora. The palette should have been released close to the rest of the collection. There are so many reviews on this collection already! Sephora fans like reviewing their purchased products so what's the delay. I saved up money but then I spent it on other stuff. Now I'm limited to what I can purchase from this collection. My guess is that they will release this end of July! It's already 9th July, so my guess would be roughly 3 weeks away. I hope it's much sooner than that, I'm beyond tired of waiting. I think many people are annoyed now..

Speaking of Sephora reviews. Why are people so stupid? I've read too many reviews w/ some twit saying, "I just ordered it today. Can't wait to get it!!!!!!"

They need to delete ALL of those. Clogging up my internets when I'm trying to find real information.

I think it's dumb to have sent out the items to bloggers if they're planning to wait a long time like this for the release. I love when bloggers can review things early but like a few days to a week not more than that. Because by the time this comes out I'm sure a lot of people will forget that the items have already been reviewed. The longer Sephora waits the more exposure they lose, whereas if blogs show things release week, the sales will be more frenzied

Oh my gosh, I hate those. Almost asuch as the 1-star reviews that say, "Would love to get this, but it's out of stock!" Why are you reviewing/bringing down the overall score when you don't even have the item >>

Oh and 1 stars that says its too expensive, err ok, i want to know if the product is good, i know the price already geez

ITA! Plus as was mentioned, a lot of lines have started releasing their fall collections - Chanel, Dior, Urban Decay etc. The Ariel collection definitely screams summer to me, and now I am starting to purchase fall stuff. I have moved past buying summer colors.
