So yesterday I visited a store and I tried on Rio and Lust as well, just to see how they look on my skin.
The tester of Rio was already a pinky one in the store and I really liked it on my skin!
The formula of Rio is the best of these MSFs in my oppinion, very finely milled and silky soft and has a beautiful sheen.
I asked for a mostly pinky one and the SA was kind to show me all of them so I could choose. :)

Lust is really not my cup of tea. In the pan I find it beautiful, but I can't stand this type of rosy shades on my face I felt like if I was sunburnt. And I also don't like on my cheeks the big chunks of glitter, wich btw are beautiful cranberry ones.

Thank you your recommendations, I really like Rio, it looks really natural, a bit rosy-brownish on my skin, like if I had some natural glow to my pale skin. :)
Yay I'm happy you like it!

Hey all, I just wanted to share what I got from this collection from my sweet boyfriend on Friday  I loveee my goodies, I'm so impressed at what he picked out. Simmer is my favorite from this collection!

I can pull off Adored, but I have to go very, very lightly with Lust or else it looks too warm. Rio was a hideous, warm mess on me, so that was a total pass. Skipped all of the blushes and lipsticks too.
You are right though, everyone who can wear all of these shades looks quite fabulous!
You are most welcome.

Earlier this year, there were a lot of products that are gorgeous on pale NW complexions, so I rather be picky and choose the right products that buy something for the sake of buying. I'm also certain there will be a mineralize collection that is less warm-toned. MAC always alternates. :)

If you can find one with a good amount of pink it's worth the purchase. I really love Rio and I'm NC15. It's a bronzy blush for me. The pink helps it look more natural than a brown bronzer. It reminds me of the Guerlain Nude bronzer, which also has a pink part in it. It's not the same colour, but it has a similar effect minus the shimmer/sheen.

If you've got a lot of pink in Rio, it makes a big difference, doesn't it? It's worth the hunt.

On the other hand, too much brown turns Rio into a muddy, unattractive mess.

I see a lot of you guys talking about Rios having too much brown in it. Would you consider mine to have too much brown?

I'm guessing I would probably have trouble using this in the winter since Tallahassee winters suck the color right out of me and I go down a few shades.

Here is my Adored:

The peachy color is almost orange, its a realy pigmented color. The beige color is beige/pink.

Thank you all for the beautyful swatches!!

I don't think the brown is ugly on it's own, but the pink does make it even prettier. I think I'm more neutraltoned than you are, so maybe that's why I feel different about it.
