Picked up TTT and Nude from Dillard's today (from the call I got yesterday). A woman was trying to bribe the SA into taking one of the TTT's out of someone's bag for $50 (and I'm pretty sure she was NOT kidding). Then when she realized I was one of the people with TTT in my bag she followed me around the store asking me what I wanted for it. Her shadiness turned me off anyway so even if I had been interested in selling it I wouldn't have to her. Unfortunately my package from my angel didn't arrive today but I'm sure it'll get here soon enough.

Trust me, she was the poster child for ratchet lol. These were items that were just being held. You had to pay for it last night when you got the call or they were offered to the next person on the waiting list. I would have been HOT if I came to pick up my stuff and something that I already paid for was missing. But you follow me around the store for a good 15 minutes over a lipstick was creepy as hell!

I so wish my counter would have made a waiting list like that. They barely had anything on launch day and we begged her to call us when the package came in or let us pay early. She would not budge and I was not a happy camper. (Still considering calling to complain to be honest).

Well I don't know what we can post on here and what's allowed and what's NOT ... but on the mac-cosmetics livejournal page that is dedicated to selling your Mac products---there is someone selling the BGGG blush for $30 - the price includes shipping and paypal fees... and she's selling Riri Woo for $22.. (but I think that's still available, isn't it?)...

I would link it straight up, but I don't know the rules on that here.

Hopefully this post doesn't cross the line either.. if so, I apologize.

I really feel for you and wish you hadn't had such a launch day disappointment. I have been a MAC customer for 10 years. With the exception of Nordstroms, I don't know any dept store MAC counters that let you pre-pay for routine launch items and then safely hold your paid items. Even with Nordstrom MAC counters, I prepaid and they STILL sold my stuff out of my bag. The few times I was on a wait list with Chanel, I never even got a call because I was too far down on the damn wait list. Lol. The only time that I have been able to pre-order MAC stuff is for holiday/couture collections at counters/stores when they are authorized to do pre-sales. So truly, the only way to be sure to get your item is to call daily to ask about that missing shipment, and keep checking Specktra for restock notices. Good luck!!

Well they had the people that were there on release day morning that got numbers (I was number 3) put their contact info on the card when they realized they didn't receive any TTT and only 2 Nudes. They didn't let anyone prepay that day...they weren't even sure if they would even get any more nudes. But when they called yesterday they called in the order that you were in line on release day. If you wanted one of the TTT or Nude lippies they finally received you had to go ahead and pay over the phone. If not then they wouldn't hold it for you. Actually, when they first called me they only knew that they had TTT. They had no clue about nude until about 15 mins later and then called me back. Glad they gave out numbers and made the release a bit more organized but MAC really needs to stop being stingy with what they let some stores have. It makes no sense how they make the shipping decisions. They can't claim that the sales don't happen. By the time I checked out on release day there were well over 50 people at that MAC counter! I don't think there were 50 people in the rest of the store combined...or the mall considering how early it was and that it was a weekday!

Stores have held items for me and let me pay over the phone (Strength Collection) but maybe they weren't supposed to. It's weird because every store in the area only had 3 or 4 Nudes and then a ton of RRW. The numbers for WTC and TTT varied. Did they expect no one to like it or what? It also didn't make sense to me that two stores in Philly had lost packages with this launch. I've never experienced that before, especially since they were supposed to have their stock 2 weeks in advance. I am glad that some people were able to get what they wanted but the stock issues are ridiculous. They had dozens on RRW. Why so few of the other colors? Makes so sense smh.
