Thanks, I may or may not check it out. If I'm really honest with myself, I don't know how many times I will actually wear a black lippie. LOL

Lol agreed I'd like to have a good black for my kit but for my own personal use I'm not so sure if I can make it work. Cyber is one of the darkest colors I own and I still haven't figured out how to pull off wearing it yet.

Kinda confusing because Carnal Instincts was pictured in one of the preview shots someone posted with the Punk Couture collection. Lol

I was confused too for the same reason. I also saw that post where it was pictured along with the other lippies. Thankfully another member cleared that question up for me.

I'm only seeing now your wonderful swatches of Diva. Why do I still not own this??? Wonder how close it is to the matte red in this collection. If this has been talked about I never saw it, I am skipping everything in this collection except for the matte red. I'm in a red-addiction phase right now. I checked out Viva Glam 1 and Ruby Woo (as if having 3 RiRi Woo isn't enough!!!) yesterday.

It might be our monitors, I see red, burgundy, dark grey and black, definitely no purples. lol

You may need to adjust your monitors - i see dark red, deep plum, dark blue-violet, and black, which is pretty much what colors the lipsticks are.

Just know that theses are not MAC's colour descripts. They're definitely different than this.

Yes, these were from another Specktralette - Liba, i think... Often MAC's descriptions are more than a bit off...

Especially at this time of year, I just don't have money to toss at something just because I might use it on an occasion every now and then. I'd probably cringe at what I see in the mirror if I were to wear it anyway.

This is exactly why I decided to skip Hautecore. I just can't see myself wearing black lipstick enough to justify the purchase. I'd probably wear it once or twice, and I probably won't be able to pull it off... so just the other 3 lipsticks for me.

So I decided to skip the preorder and brave the counter on the 26th since I'm off for the holidays for 2 weeks anyway. I figured it was one less chance of someone else's order possibly getting cancelled, which I really hope doesn't happen. Praying to the makeup Gods that everybody gets what they want from this collection. On another note, has anyone heard of mac at macys doing another thanksgiving midnight collection release like they did last year for taste temptations?

I just looked on the Melt website and they are "Sold Out" of all the colors that interest me -- and some that don't. I don't know when they're going to re-stock.

I'm glad someone agrees with me. Many people seem to be super excited for a black lipstick and I just can't be enthusiastic about it. Not my cup of tea!
