yeah..exclusive event doesnt look good on me at all...i have to play with it to make it work..its too brown.. for nudes i have to stick to fresh brew..or do a pink nude like viva glam V or Airy Fairy from Rimmel

Argh I find it hard to make nudes work on me but I guess I haven't found the perfect one for me Angel looks okay and I Can make Snob work a bit but nudes just aren't for me usually

Thanks! And ya, BGRR doesn't have the coral/light pink as I thought, at least not on me. Makes me like my natural lip colour more, lol

I don't mean to argue or anything but where are you getting this from? It's pretty much the exact opposite of what Nordstrom CS told me on the phone. She told me they were going by the name you ordered, not by the swatch, and wanted me to confirm that Pleasure Bomb is what I wanted because even though I clicked on the swatch for BGRR, Pleasure Bomb is what I was being sent. I just don't want people to freak out and think their orders might be cancelled when it sounds like several people now have verified with Nordstrom CS that they're getting what they ordered.

Right this person joined today never posted at all before and is giving opposite info from what everyone who spoke with cs is saying just seems a little suspicious to me.

!!!!WOW!! That is just nuts! What is the point? I am glad that I dont have to endure that chaos but feel sad for those who are going there with no clue. Congrats on having a great SA though

Thanks for your swatches @iEmpress . Your skintone looks really similar to mine, so you helped decide against BGRR. It's pretty and natural, but I don't need anymore nudes. PB looks great on you, too. Maybe I'm imagining it, but it seems less cool-toned than MAC's other bright pinks. I think that's why I'm liking it.

I just called to double check to see if my BGRR was in fact BGRR and they forwarded me to a their MUA and she reassured me that BGRR is what I will get. She said she knew about all the confusion and everything is being handled. They are taking their time with the shipments to assure accuracy.

Yeah seriously...I'd be going insane ATM if I didn't have the lipsticks on hold...my MAC store let me put two of each on hold...thank goodness! I promised my mom and friend both so...LOL, whew I'm really actually glad I don't have to stand in line in the cold...

I got on chat with Nordstrom... Doesn't look like my order will be canceled, but the dude said it'll ship in a couple days.:-/ I ordered at 5:59 am, but I guess I pulled a snooze and lose.

With my Macy's, he pretty much told me that the people who are going/will be in line won't get the lipsticks (unless they want RiRi woo) because the stock that they did get is already on hold...I feel awful for those people.:..

I don't get how some places are only getting 6 lipsticks. That's ridic! Our Mac counter at The Bay rarely sells out on launch day!

I think it does depend on the store, MA, weather, rainfall...all of that.  Some members were able to pre-order, other stores didn't have that option.  Some stores will open early, some at regular time.  If you have a pretty good rapport with any of the MA's at your local MAC, you may find someone to give you decent info.

Hmm I wonder if my store just won't do it. I'm pretty new to MAC and I've only bought a few things from the store in particular, one MUA told me they don't put things on hold if it's LE and I was asking another MUA about the hours and she was telling me to get there early so I guess I'm out of luck for preordering. They are also giving customers a limit, maybe it's a stricter store.
