I'm so disappointed that I missed the Dior lipstick. The Caudalie serum is a nice offer too but I may have to pass because I might end up loving it and don't think I want to fall in love with an $80 serum.

I didn't get an email either! I would've loved to get the lipstick. I find it funny how even when they're finally giving decent Rouge perks they're limited quantity and you have to grab them right away

Did you make a return after the new year? Returns will affect your spend-to-VIB/Rouge total.

That's actually not true. The Rouge FAQ says that returns do not count towards your Rouge total (number 12 on the link). It only affects your point level.

Seems kinda weird that it wouldn't though. Why not spend $1000 than return everything, right? Silly.

This means once you've qualified, you're qualified but until then, the spend/return total does count as you add it up. But you can't be un-Rouged for returning something once you hit that $1000 spent.

But that's if u spend $1000 on the dot for that yr, I mean if u spend way more than that and after returning, u would still have spend more than $1000 anyways

I heard on facebook that there was some glitch and VIBs were able to use this rouge code, thus it sold out super fast after the code was posted there
Nvm, sephora confirmed only rouge was able to use.. they sure had very very limited quantities =.=

Well, I wasn't sure at the end of last year that I would make Rouge since I made some returns, so I counted up all of my purchases then subtracted my returns and it was less than $1000. I don't know if that is how it was for everyone, but my returns didn't count towards my qualification. I guess once you qualify, they can't take it away, even if you ended up spending less than $1000 overall.The moderators over on BeautyTalk tell people all the time that returns _do_ count toward your spending total. I find it frustrating that the information provided isn't clear or consistent.

Same, after I made vib rouge in december I had to return a purchase which dropped me under 1000$(in december) but I stayed rouge. I'd be irritated about the Dior lipstick if it wasn't for the Nars illuminator, it's only 0.1oz smaller than the regular size! So I'm happy about that perk.
I'm so annoyed that as a Canadian VIB Rouge, the website allows me to add the code to my cart but for some reason they didn't send any of us the emails. It doesn't make any sense. Thank god for you specktra girls because I would never have known!
