I'm going to try this with my babies. Glad I'm not alone with talking to my kitties all day. They seem to understand and/or be very understanding to me, especially when I am feeling down or not right. I notice when I feel sad they feel sad, when I'm happy & upbeat they are also. I will never understand how anyone could hurt and not love any sort of animal. They are just like humans, but just fuzzy and less judgmental.

I know!! I have five cats also and i rescued all of them. i adore my fur babies and always have! My Cat Kiki is so funny she acts like a dog, and is huge and bullies all the other cats but never hurts them. Personally i feel my pets know me better than anyone does. My Puffy (puppy) hehe, he is so loyal. when im sick he jus lays with me all day. if i sleep all day he sleeps all day. I take him everywhere, including Nordstroms mac. Every where i go ppl wanna flirt with him and get him all worked up, its so cute. And as far as the ppl i have known who did not like animals, well they were shit heads period. And if a pet i have had didnt like someone, they had to go. I had a blue and gold macaw for a while and he hated most men, well the ones he didnt like didnt stick around anyway. Macaws can be very very intimidating! i have a scar on both lips with 10 stitches to prove it hahaha. Animals have the most pure souls. How can u not love a baby animal?????

Oh and Mr Cakes watches tv its so hilarious. He makes me feed him broken up milk bones if there is a dog on tv, he thinks its gonna come eat all his food i think, since my sisters two dogs do eat all his treats and food every time they come. So he barks and growls and bosses me around to get to breakin up his milk bones in tiny bits for him. i know jus to get the treat box as soon as i hear his grrrrrrr!!! And he knows what im saying almost all the time too. Never seen such a smart dog in my life. I carry him in a pink dog purse he jus jumps right in it to go bye bye

Have to chime in as another crazy cat lady lol I have a 6 year old girl, Spots, and a new baby kitten who will be 3 months on the 1st, Finley. I also have my guinea pig Charlotte who thinks she's a cat lol. We rescued Spotsy as a pregnant stray and got homes for her babies. Finley who we just got has a bad leg and he can walk and run etc but he limps a little. My mom and I love animals who need help we want them all lol Charlotte has nothing wrong with her, that pig is insanely smart it's creepy lol

I had a Albino guinea pig named piggy sue and she was blind and she lived wit a holland lop i had named atto. ahhh they were so adorable. and i had a cat who was so shy the other cats picked on her so she would sleep wit piggy sue and atto. sooooooooo cute!!!

Piggy Sue is an adorable name! We gave Finley the middle name Nemo bc he's orange and white and his bad arm is the same as Nemo's lol

Animals lovers unite!!!! Not only do we love our makeup addictions, we are addicted to our furry babies. Loves it!!!! I had four kitties at once. First, all girls and my Martha who was a Calico and 20 pounds of pure love was the Alpha kitty of the house. She even bullied me...lol. Eventually, my girl kitties passed away all within a few months/year of each other. I now have three boys and my mom has one girl kitty and about 21 finches (they keep breeding. They are like bunny rabbits. They can't seem to control their urges. LOL). I always wanted a guinea pig and doggies. Maybe whenever I finally move out of where I live now. My mom and I also take care of the strays around our area. All my kitties have been strays that I have taken in or adopted from others. We also feed the squirrels and birds in our neighborhood. Pisses off people, but I could care less. I love animals of all kinds. Without them, we will not survive. It's a shame more humans don't realize this.

I know!!! Animals only like to adopt nice humans and we need more animal friendly humans! and yes alpha kitty kiki bosses me daily!!! I live wit my mom and grandmother we all are nutty animal ppl haha.

We need a pets of Specktra thread or calendar or something! I love all these pet stories!! And yay for rescues! Those babies need so much love. All my pets have been a rescue or a stray I just took in. When I still lived in Virginia I had a rescue doxie and an Arabian horse. The little doxie used to try to bully my horse and hang off his tail! Too damn adorable!! I love your little sweatheart! I want to just hug him and taken him everywhere! My cat didn't like my ex. My cat didn't like my ex. We were together for ten years and then cut it off. We tried to remain friends. One day, my new guy was at my place and Peanut was loving all over him. My ex got mad and yelled about how the cat never loved him like that. Peanut knew how was good for her mommy

Mr Cakes would so love to snuggle and lick ur face hehe. and good kitty!!! Peanut is smart!! i always wanted a horse soooo bad!!!! and u know these mini dogs have napoleon complex bad hahaha

Mine have always been strays or adopted from shelters too, Finley and my old cat Storm who passed away last year were the only kittens we've adopted from new litters. When Spots had her babies she was only 1 years old and the vet told us based on her development it wasn't her first litter and she was basically a "teen pregnancy cat". My friend asked me why I kept her instead of one of her babies and that made me so mad, like I should throw her out on the street just bc she wasn't a kitten? She was only a year!! She's a very happy loving and chubby fluff now lol

Okay. My apologies for hogging up this thread with photos of my kitties. Above Me with Ms. Martha (RIP), next are my two little boys Finnegan (who I just adopted at 8 months in June 2013) and Sterling whom I adopted at 2 years old in July of 2012. Below them is my mom's little girl kitty Princess who turns 4 in April and on the side is her big brother Mushy (RIP). We took them both in on April 9, 2011, but Mushy passed away that November. He was 16 and I miss him. My Aaliyah Rose is next (RIP) she got sick suddenly and passed away on April 25, 2011 at only 9 years young. Mr. Maurice is next to her, he will be 15 in August. Below is Shetara (RIP) who passed away last December 15th after getting very sick suddenly. My baby! And last, but never least is Ms. Katie Lynne who found me when she was a kitten and I took her home. She passed away on September 28, 2010 at 18 years old!!!! I miss all my babies and love my living ones so much!!!!
