All Things Sephora

Who sent my stupid tail into the Sephora today to purchase Shiseido Facial Cotton and Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water. I think I've fostered a bad habit with these two products. The cotton is some of the softest stuff I've ever placed on my face. It doesn't leave behind lint or any fuzz after use. I used one square per eye to remove my eye makeup today and my brows! Now on to the Cleansing Spa Water. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR this stuff is great!!!!! It reminds me of my beloved Embryolisse Lotion Micellaire. It got everything off with a pass of a saturated cotton pad and the second pass grabbed what ever was left behind. You don't have to rinse it off. My face feels clean after it's use. When this tiny costly bottle is used up I'm going to suck it up and grab the even larger bottle.

Because of your rave about it...I just bought the small bottle to try

Does Ulta carry Lorac? I want to check it out on my trip down there.

How does the rewards program work with Ulta? Would it be worth my while for a one-off visit (I am in the USA once every 3 years or so usually) to get a card, or would I be better off borrowing someones card # and getting them some spending credit for the year?

I have the Chanel cotton pads & they really make a difference when taking eye makeup off. We need a great cheaper version of these expensive ones.

I'm bummed I missed out on the Carven perfume mini. It seems like it was up only a day or so. It seems like they always have the same old minis so it was nice to see something new. I haven't tried that fragrance so maybe I would have hated it anyway.

What are your favorite brands to get makeovers from? My neighborhood sephora has a number of different cosmetic company reps giving makeovers and I want to take advantage.

I'm a little hesitant about getting makeovers because I feel pressured to buy after I get my makeup done. However, I don't mind spending if I'm impressed with the artist skills and/or products.

So far, the only makeover I've enjoyed was from NARS. I've heard really good things about Hourglass makeovers too.

Anyone else have favorites?

Yay got the kat von d everlasting liquid lipstick in L.U.V finally came in stock, saw a youtuber wearing it and went bananas. Hopefully it will pull the same color on me.

I am so mad at you - only because I am jealous lol! I came into work, saw it in stock, and my boss came into my office to talk to me. In the time it took to finish that and log back in L.U.V. was gone! I want that one and Mau5. I was going to let L.U.V substitute for the Radiant Orchid lipstick I missed out on earlier this year.

My last Sephora order had an extra sample in it I didn't ask for! I thought maybe they ran out of one of the samples I had requested and put that one in as a replacement, but nope, it was an extra. It was a sample of a perfume that was wayyyyy too strong for me, but it was a fun surprise anyway.

Just heard from the Sephora forum that Sephora's Chic Week this year will take place from March 30th - April 11. I'm assuming these are the BI dates - no word about VIB/VIB Rouge dates (maybe a day earlier and a day later like last year's VIB Sale?) It seems so far away - going on a makeup diet until Chic Week for now!
