DID SOMEBODY SAY BITE!!!! i wasnt ready to drop $24 for ONE lipstick so i bought the $12 duos. im wearing palamino/violet and i got lychee/musk which is a pinky beige nude duo! BITE is so creamy n gorgeous. this lasted me awwwwwl day!!
Looks BEAUTIFUL on you! I purchased the neutral duo and loved it so I had wanted to try a full size. figured better now with 15% off. I really like lychee but you can't buy it full size. I swatched the palamino/violet today and was quite tempted to get that too but I just don't reach for those colors often. sooo jealous at how lovely they look on you though!! @BrknFlwr85 @MsGlossy @walkingdead I ended up with fig. I LOVE it. I wanted more of a pink for spring and Pepper was beautiful but i'm very fair and it's more brown so I will definitely pick that one up in the fall for sure. They didn't have bouquet so i'm wondering if I should chance it or just wait. I also bought urban decay liar lip gloss to put on top. wow perfect match. loving this combo. @BrknFlwr85 i totally get why you mixed them. it would make the perfect shade. i was tempted to do the same. thank you all for your help. @walkingdead let me know how you like pepper!

Seriously

I ordered one of the Marc Jacobs gel liners to see how I like them.

A good time to remind people about the Sephora calendar! I put it together (With a little help from my Specktra friends!!!) when this thread was new, and put it in the first post of this thread so it is always easy to find.

*************

I hope the promotions for Sephoras birthday are good, better than the spin the wheel promotion they had last time :p Trying to save up for the VIB sale during the holidays, so it will take something special to attract my attention.

Perhaps they will put out special sephora's favourites sets for the occasion? Any speculation?

[@]Starlight77[/@] thanks! I'm a medium complexion so I think Pepper will work for me (I'm hoping). I'll definitely know when I get it. I have Liar lipstick and I live it. I had the lipgloss in by bag but I already bought the bite lipgloss set and the Buxom set.

Not sure if I answered this yet or not! I have had no problems with them. Been about 4 times, and haven't had a bad brow yet. Sometimes you get samples. And the Rouge discount during VIB always seems to apply, despite them saying that it likely won't. Although I always bought something at the same time, so that likely helps. They have their own extension at Yorkdale, but won't be there before 12.

Lovely!

So many Toronto #Sephoraddicts here!
I thought so!
I didn't know Yorkdale had a benefit brow bar (haven't been there in a while though, inconvenient to travel to). Good to know!

Thanks Girl! i think im going to take advantage of the 4x points for Rouge on August.
I may do that as well, if I need anything. (If she says, as if she couldn't come up with some sort of need by August).

Still super curious to see what they come up with for their birthday. For some reason I thought this would be their 15th anniversary, but it looks like that was last year.

I'm not a gloss girl either. I'm ok with lipsticks that disappear as long as they don't leave that lip liner look around your lips which i call the dreaded circle of doom. where just the middle wears away. i need something simple and i need lighter shades as if i wear dark the baby feels the need to touch my mouth more, lol. I read somewhere about this company being started because the average woman consumes a few pounds of lip products a year. I find that statistic hard to believe as I don't know anyone that would go through a few pounds. even 3-4 full lipsticks a year isn't near that (i could be so wrong). I think the all natural and food grade ingredients probably play a role in the shorter wear time and i'm ok with that as long as it's not drying and doesn't leave the dreaded circle of doom around my lips LOL
thank you so much for your review on them. There are 3 colors i like most fig, pepper, and bouquet but i figured one was a good start. I do have musk/lychee so i'm not buying blind but it's so hard to see shades online. I think you have sold me easily on both. going to Sephora tomorrow. if they have them I WIN! if not, I save money and win anyway LOL

I haven't had the "circle of doom" problem that you mentioned with Bite, they just disappear completely sometime between 1-2 hours after applying. I also don't think those statistics are believable, but you could be right about the short wear time having to do with their formula.

I'm so happy I could be of help to you and I'm sure Fig will look amazing with your fair skin, it really is a lovely color. My lips are kinda strange (bottom is a nice rose color and top is more of a brown rose), so that's why I mix them so I have a nice balance between the brown and pink.

I think next weekend I'm going to purchase Bite's Agave Lip Mask and see if it helps get my lips back into shape. I'm hoping to find something to help these babies stay put a little longer so I can purchase more shades that have caught my eye.

I went back to Sephora to pick up a sunscreen that was out of stock online. All the talk of the KVD liquid lipsticks and curiosity got the better of me. Vampira was the only one that was sold out, so I got L.U.V. and Bauhau5. I called another Sephora and they have one Vampira left which I'm going to pick up in a little bit.
