I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I lost my father in 2008 and my mother in 2009. I think about them all the time. I can't imagine having a parent who doesn't remember you. That must be so difficult.

Thank you! It is not about the right choice for her, they both want to do it for that reason my dear. However if my mother's heart is to closed and her heart can't take the surgery then the surgeon won't do it. He's words exactly were "I'd rather her live however long she has, instead of forcing a surgery she may not be able to take and die on the operating table." If he makes that decision then I will do everything in my power to make my mothers every single dream come true. 

I am so sorry you guys are going through such a tough time! It's always scary having a sick parent! I'll be sending you positive thoughts and I hope whatever decision is made, you both have a good outcome! My mom has lupus and needs a serious invasive surgery done but it scared the hell out of me to think her body could just shut down on itself. I'm happy it's been put off for awhile.

Lol Say what? I'm old too and still call them mom and dad lol even my older brother who is in his 40's still calls our parents mom and dad. My sister is 24 and calls our dad, daddy in front of everyone lol. She gets all kinds of looks.  My cousins all call their parents by name.  Lol I called my mom viejita once and she hated it lol  Haha this has made me laugh so much.

I can't call my mom by her first name. So weird. Only in my phone are my step dad and dad labeled by name to know which is calling lol. I call my mom mommy sometimes depending out how much of a baby I'm being. Oh my gosh I just noticed these boobs pics what is going on!
