This thread DOES move fast! But that is a good point, these are shadows that deliver quality in a gorgeous package, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Yup. The smaller size doesn't bother me, though I understand that it is annoying to know that they were much bigger initially. The packaging was just an added plus. The quality is just outstanding. I rather have a product (and a BU) that I know I will love than having skipper's remorse.

I wish these could be depotted. I hate little individual e/s; the only ones I have are mini-EDES. Love the product, but I wish I could put them into a palette. I'd use them so much more that way. That's why I didn't get any.

THIS. MAC needs to come out with some EDES quads for maybe $45-$50. I'd be cool with that.

MAC needs ebay. Ebay shows the consumer there is a demand for the product which makes everyone rush and scram about like crazy trying to grab them. Ebay raises the prices because there are people willing to pay it. If people stop paying ebay prices they will stop selling but it's very unlikely as MAC makes sure to only put out a very limited quantity in order to make their customers feel that they need the product more. If they didn't do that, they couldn't get away with all these new collections. If ebay stopped, MAC customers would slow down on purchasing as they would have time. Ebay forces you to buy fast, MAC needs ebay. (unfortunately)

there is no solution really but don't shop ebay as i'm sure in a few weeks people will start putting stuff in the CB. Remember other stores still need to launch AND MAC stores themselves as well

Yeah definitely. I'd prefer less collections that are well thought out with amazing products/packaging and a decent amount of stock. But I know that's not the reality with MAC. Like @Audrey C said, at that point you can just as easily turn to higher end brands if you really wanted to rather than paying the inflated eBay prices.

Honestly I'm not too worried about it! It is what it is! Every time I've really wanted something I put in the stalking effort and I've never missed out on something. It's just unfortunate if you're new to the game and miss out (like I did with Marilyn - but I still refused to buy anything from eBay).

Solange is lucky that Jay Z respected her. Me neither! Lmao that's funny. But the principle is, if anybody is gna put your partner in check it should be YOU. Not your mama, your sister, your brother, your uncle. Like hellooo.. How could you stand there and let that happen?!

And, this is probably not the first time that the exact same situation has happened. If you are the wife and you have been down that road before to only end up in the exact same place why get in a physical altercation? Now if you are the sister and the wife just told you that this is not the first time (and provided examples), I can see why you would be upset. But that does not justify her wailing on ole boy in the elevator. But if I ever needed to take someone down I want Solange on my team!

That's what got me too, maybe she didn't want to mess up her hair by pulling her enraged sister off her man? I would of been pissed if I were him and my wife just let her sister wail on me like that.

I feel the same way. Luckily, I have never missed out on something I wanted at the time. Now, changing my mind about something later after I missed it is a different story. My purchases from Hello Kitty were just sad. What was I thinking? Hehe. But I refuse to turn to ebay.
