I prefer T's set-up, I get the facts and he low-down quickly, whereas Karen I have to dig for the information about the products - if it's even there at all.
You have a good point there and I do like that T is very organized with the info and you can read her thoughts quickly. I usually don't read T's reviews though unless they are rated D or F because I like to try products myself before I judge them.

Yes and you can tell she LOVES doing it, so it's not a job for her. I don't think that's the case with T anymore, but maybe she just likes to keep things more professional rather than fun.
Professional I'd say yes for T, Karen is more fun, and happy lol.

I love that karen loves every single product.
She tries to make every product look amazing, and she succeedes
Karen makes sure that every person who follows her blog loves what they love!
If I am a lippie girl, I am going to love the lippies on her.
If I am an MSF junkie I will love the MSF!

I definitely have things I like about T and things I like about Karen. I kind of wish they could be melted into one person/blog lol. Karen is sometimes a little too kind and vague when it comes to reviews (But I love her!), and then I don't like Temptalia's lighting and overall jaded-seeming personality these days.

for example :

http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-mystere-43-les-4-ombres-eyeshadow-palette-review-photos-swatches

look what an ugly look she did with it! it looks like it has no pigment! I did not purchase it because of this review until I tried it in person. I could not believe it when I used it myself how amazing it is
Oh yes. She rated it as one of the worst products of the year, and I told her I completely disagreed. It applied wonderfully on me! Honestly, I go for the skin swatches and the comparisons. Not many people do comparisons, so it's nice to be able to decide if I already have the same color or not. Although, I have a few of the "dupes" for KYY and I'm still getting it!

It's not just you.  She has continued to rate them more and more harshly for a while now.  There is some serious bias going on behind the scenes and idk why.
Well... At least it's not just me. Glad I don't base my purchases solely on her rating
Has this been posted? I can't remember..

I actually do think it's bias.  Something changed very quickly for her when it comes to MAC products.  I don't know what happened, but her ratings started going down very quickly.  Also, I often don't find her ratings very concise even when she is negative.  Sometimes she gives very poor ratings without even giving much of a reason.  This is coming from someone that used to adore T's blog.
I have to agree to disagree with some of you on this because for me, if she gives an f because she says something is powdery or it's not pigmented, that's the reason and she's concise about how she rates things. So I prefer temptalia, and even allurabeauty the same way and I've watched them both since they started, and I like them because they're not afraid to say what they really feel.

That's part of why I think temptalia is a bit more useful. Karens blog is a lot of talk that doesn't say much about the products. I do love how her pictures and makeup have improved so much lately though. (Sorry for all the edits I'm on a crappy connection lol!)

Alright I see what you are saying! However I think everyone is talking about when she T says a product is powdery and what have you, yet no one experiences that!

I agree with you, but there are two things about her reviews that bother me and they are: 1. part of her rating is based on longevity and how long a product lasts is going to be different for everyone and 2. I don't find her eyeliner reviews useful because she only applies them to the waterline and lower lash line (she says due to an allergy
