Thank you, everyone! I really hope the MAC site restock Silver Sun. If they do, I'm getting it. I'm so glad I got Lorelei. I just swatched it and it looks like a beautiful rose gold on me!

When I saw Lorelei in store I thought this looks very rose goldish, even on my hand it does. Not what I expected but it is a gorgeous color.

While I agree that this was a collection that wasn't exactly WOC friendly, I do agree that bashing MAC because you blindly ordered stuff isn't their fault! Also if makeup is your business then you should have a basic idea of what works on your skin tone and what will fit in with your current makeup aesthetic! Just my two cents! I know what will or won't work on me.

I've been subscribed to her for awhile.

It is really disheartening to hear she is basically taking everything back because she simply bought everything and didn't do any research/bought blindly. Like most of you have said, that wasn't really smart. And she said she just got back from vacation. Did she even consider that she has a tan and how that can effect the color payoff?

To make things worst, she was complaing about the extra dimension bronzers. Like did she not notice it said bronzer and not skinfinish?

But I degress, MAC could have added a more WOC friendly bronzer to have a well-rounded collection. However, I think the blushes and lipsticks were fine.

I really liked when they came out with the EDSF's the first time and they had one for nearly every skin tone. I think that would be a really good rule of thumb, to make a sort of light, medium and dark when it comes to face products. Last year I felt all the summer face products and bronzers were really too dark for pale girls, and this year they were too light for medium to darker girls.

I have a strong feeling that Mac will sneak a restock in but it may be at a odd time and few items that will be gone in record time. Like those if you blink you miss it kind of restocks.

I watched her video the other day and I was trying to figure out why she bought things that obviously weren't gonna work for her and then acted annoyed by it. Like did she not see anything before she bought it?

Checked out the collection in stores and everything was still in stock at the macys plaza in north hollywood....only ended up with golden bronzer (purely for packaging), silver sun, goddess of the sea, and pet me please. I have to say, was super not impressed with the ED bronzers, AS looked like nothing on me and I'm an NC20! I had to build that sucker UP. Delphic was really orangey on me too :/ really wanted Fathoms deep and water deities but MUST BE STRONG and wait for the Osbornes!

Picked my items up yesterday. Got mystical, enchanted one, pet me please, water dities and peach stock. Haven't bought this many items from a collection in a while.

Hmmmm....I thought several of the colors looked good on WOC.  I just left the store and saw a girl with Pet Me, Please on (with a liner) and it looked great.  She was much darker than me...I felt like it was only "meh" on me. The liner really makes a world of difference. I can def see all the eyeshadows working as well. 

I agree. I'm a WOC, probably around the same complexion as the lady in the video and I think this collection has a lot of great items for WOC. I swatched everything this morning and I do agree with her perspective on Delphic, AS, Golden and SS l/s, those items will work better for those of a lighter complexion IMO. But she didn't even review the e/s which I believe are the stars of the collection and will definitely work beautifully on WOC. I also really like SMHM blush, it is sheer but it leaves a gorgeous natural-looking flush of color. The l/g, especially WD, SS, & ML will also look great on WOC. I think her review was lacking without swatches or a review of the EDES or L/G.
