I was told when they were canceling orders during ririgate that all mac collections are not officially launched until they've sent out the text and email notifications for them. It's confusing but it allows them an excuse to get you off the phone lol

Well that is bullshit. AA texts and emails went out DAYS after it was launched, shipped, and sold out.

Good question! Not wishing this on any of you ladies, but I think they canceled orders for the Riri collection when this happened. My MAC counter said that they won't be getting this collection so if MAC doesn't restock or if the herd beats me to Nordies, I'm screwed .

RiRi was a whole other situation and was not anywhere close to this. This collection is just like every other collection that launches with MAC, RiRi excluded. Don't start freaking people out about cancelled orders.

I finally got to try those and I actually like them. They're a good lipglass alternative if you don't like sticky. My only complaint is that they're shaped so round that it's hard to be super precise. Did you not like them or are you just a lipstick fan?

I haven't tried them, I just wasn't really interested. Lipstick and gloss I get excited but the pencils just didn't catch my attention lol

It was as easy as ordering any other old lipstick or shadow that isn't in the new collection. So why people think we hacked is beyond me

This launch was like ever other for YEARS. Site map first. Then home page HOURS later, right before emails and texts go out.

Not a veteran MAC stalker. It usually pops up on the main page and I'm lucky enough to get what's on my list. Now I know the beauty of the site map & will definitely be using it for the Simpson's collection!

I didn't buy from RiRi but as far as I know what happened w that was that things were set to launch at 12 noon (first time Mac ever gave a time) and Popsugar posted a link that allowed people into the items section to order before 12. People order off Site Map like this collection all the time and we're fine I wouldn't worry really

I'm not trying to freak anyone out. If this is how it's normally done, then there shouldn't be any problems with anyone's order. I didn't call to complain. Just to see if it could be ordered over the phone since my ish wasn't cooperating.
